feeling so inspired we lived on a corner in a typical oc tract neighborhood what do you look for in a best friend and then that got me thinking that really its not just while laying in bed that she is watching out for me what an adventure it is dinner i kind of snack or have a lunch type meal again dinner is tricky because i still need to prepare dinner for my family so i do but im not super hungry at night so i just eat whatever broccoli a little of what theyre having or snacky stuff or chicken wings or crispy thin crust pizza but i always end the day with a low carb ice cream bar at 18 i planned to live the tahoe hippie life forever one day i felt compelled i knew it i just had to leave i packed up my car and moved to the central coast and then i found myself a mother funny i thought id teach awhile longer and have grant all to myself and save some money remember when the weather was warm and we would go to the park when daddy got home from work and we would bring homemade bread and fruit to eat for dinner and we would be drenched in golden light and the cousins would come meet us for some wild rides down the slide cate did you love disney games on the computer when you were five one thing i enjoy about facebook is the old pictures that friends and fam upload to walk down memory lane together with you from brora what a few hours on a sunny day can do for you ten months after we were married i was a stay at home mom living the student life again while grant went back to school a few months later another unplanned event- my mom passed away suddenly secondly i must say i know carbohydrates arent bad i know bread is life and wheat is the staff of life a lot of fruits and veggies are quite sugary/ starchy for almost everyone eating all these foods in moderation will do them fine but remember i am trying to regulate an abnormality to a diabetic sugar is the devil to someone with celiac disease wheat is the devil to someone with milk allergies dairy is the devel and what ive come to believe that for some women who dont ovulate high blood sugar may be their devil and it definately is mine it made me happy let me explain Buoy cate and i went through some of the free options around the web for valentines to download and print say hi to gilbert and the kids with love km with that heres the stuff i eat salad with chicken a different salad with chicken repeat repeat this is the hard thing about it not a ton of delicious options im kind of kidding ive found a few other yummy things too

i love the color palette and obvious softness. i love that she's an expert knitter and yet chooses to create very simple pieces; ok, i'm off to knit... i always enjoy knitting lacy stuff but this pattern was especially fun, super easy, and portable. she wears birkenstocks to fashion shows. ps- did i say i would sew this past saturday? i meant next saturday! haha! i am going to turn on some good music and choose to be happy. here's an irish blessing from us to you... my happy little life last minute trip to idaho to see my sister- so much better than home blogging! you sit at the counter we ate corned beef and cabbage with irish soda bread last night in preparation for the day of the irish. like this one, from sweet mary, that she left on the clean room post: "Your house seems so organized. 1. in the craft room i throw everything on the homework table. that clears up the floor for more mess craft making. have you seen april's ms living yet? soft and long lacy scarf light enough for spring, extra long for winter wrapping, elegant enough for church, cute enough for a tshirt...i really love this scarf pattern (gee can you tell?). i am looking forward to a date with grant. let's give a hand to the world, for everything it can do!! and the fact that she's 31 makes me happy to be 31. back in a few days

i know some people dont love the whole valentines thing but it is so fun to me i dont care if the greeting card company made it up- any day where i get to be pretty treated with sweetness have a declicious dinner and some romance is right on in my book it made me happy cate chose these pretty little traditional valentines cards from bunny cakes i love them i will i will i will please hold me accountable if you dont see the results posted next week the inspiration pieces isnt life surprising i was laying awake thinking last night about how different my life has gone then what i thought (in a good way) one thing i enjoy about facebook is the old pictures that friends and fam upload to walk down memory lane together with you cate (incredulously) what were you a child of adam and eve one of my resolutions for 2009 was to stop ignoring the etsy shop and to not spin my wheels all day (these two problems are very related) i am the queen of walking in circles around the house and not really getting anything accomplished i wouldnt care except for that it drives me nuts part of the problem is my insomniatic nights which leave me only half there during the day times ( which then leads to high caffeine consumption) so i decided step one is to get good nights sleeps i am trying to change my night time routine to a peaceful herbal tea quiet inspiration seeking few hours it helps if i keep our room clean and the sheets freshly washed and calming reading more- tv less- at night is a goal then hopefully my days will be a little more with it because i hate wasting time she didnt want to print off her name- signing was a must i think they are so cute i love her litte handwriting and she is beyond excited to pass them out some other projects she and i looked at but didnt get around to (of course) from martha (of course) seriously though my closest friends are fun real and honest good entertaining in love with life a little crazy down to earth deep and incapable of bs when cate is too scared to go downstairs penny will go with her and everything is all right she lets cate dress her up for weddings or try to ride her or pull her by the tail almost daily and even knowing the torture she will soon endure she gets so excited when cate gets home from school women who have these hormonal issues typically carry alot of weight around the middle (due to the out of control insulin and resultant too high of testosterone) and a high protein and fiber diet combined with low carbs really helps with that an added benefit is that these types of foods are so filling and you avoid the highs and crashes that people with blood sugar problems live by project 31 is rolling along i have donations for every single item i need for the 31 newborn kits and lots of fabric donations and i will sew until there are 31 baby quilts too thank you SO much i was overwhelmed by the awesome response packages are starting to arrive i will be sure to post some pictures when i get it all together and ready to take to the humanitarian center my heart is happy snacks NUTS i would die without nuts i love roasted almonds cashews peanuts i also love those roasted edamame they taste like nuts even though theyre not and nuts taste really good with a few slices of swiss cheese also deli meat slices celery with peanut butter on it a few whole grain crackers with cheese beef jerky sugar free snack packs stuffed mushrooms hard boiled eggs string cheese protein bars crudites and more NUTS grant and i listened and danced to his music on valentines day

off to the kindergarten valentines day party she is my best babysitter for cate she takes turns with me putting cate to bed and being her pillow and then suddenly and to my surprise i met and married the man i had no idea i was dreaming of but he was perfect for me and better than anything i had imagined or sought after before i never thought life would then take me to utah to attend byu and then off to serve as a missionary for a year and a half but it did and it was hardest most surprising most rewarding experience of my life valentines day preparations 1 luce 2 Untitled 3 Working 4 Stove Top i have been laying in bed sick since monday it seems to be getting worse by the day not better i am so irritated and antsy i miss my family and i want to clean my house from anthro it made me happy she didnt want to print off her name- signing was a must i got a lot emails about what i eat and how it effects pcos- so i hope you dont mind if i just answer all the questions here instead of going through each email and that made me think of all the insomniatic nights that she stayed up with me and mirrored my every move and snuggled me right out of my anxiety into dreamland long after grant and cate had drifted off i spent a few hours organizing my yarn and needles into that armoire hey my little family ok its hard to stop i love every song confession i miss saved by the bell the girl loves a project i mean LOVES it was like so fun to her to print them off plan how she wanted to present them go to the store for candy sign and put them together she just bossed me around and made sure i tied the string right i swear nothing makes me happier than a peaceful space and some needles Quilt kits finally all done where are neighborhoods like that anymore with bushes big enough to hide in and kids that go around the block together all afternoon and normal sized houses and the old winkfields next door ok i dont need the winkfields but id sure love to give my kids the rest
