but i couldnt stop looking at the picture because it shows the place where i played for the first 12 years of my life cate what did you play on the computer then and then i realized i love her so much and then suddenly and to my surprise i met and married the man i had no idea i was dreaming of but he was perfect for me and better than anything i had imagined or sought after before at 18 i planned to live the tahoe hippie life forever one day i felt compelled i knew it i just had to leave i packed up my car and moved to the central coast all day the kids hung out at that corner played on that grass got drinks out of that hose went through the secret passage way in the juniper bushes and only left the area to go around the block over and over again sometimes it was on bikes with banana seats sometimes roller skates sometimes big wheels sometimes walking even occasionally on skateboards with cardboard boxes on them (our cars) i really really need my bedroom to be simple and uncluttered and white for calming purposes you know what i mean i swear nothing makes me happier than a peaceful space and some needles we lived on a corner in a typical oc tract neighborhood but the commonality between each experience was- it was out of my hands i occasionally fell in love with someone who couldnt be had i occasionally had to run from someone who wouldnt let me go do you have to be obsessed with yarn and needles and hooks like i am to think that is the most inviting little space youve ever seen did anyone else sustain life with saltines from the ages of 13-17 what a few hours on a sunny day can do for you one of my resolutions for 2009 was to stop ignoring the etsy shop and to not spin my wheels all day (these two problems are very related) i am the queen of walking in circles around the house and not really getting anything accomplished i wouldnt care except for that it drives me nuts part of the problem is my insomniatic nights which leave me only half there during the day times ( which then leads to high caffeine consumption) so i decided step one is to get good nights sleeps i am trying to change my night time routine to a peaceful herbal tea quiet inspiration seeking few hours it helps if i keep our room clean and the sheets freshly washed and calming reading more- tv less- at night is a goal then hopefully my days will be a little more with it because i hate wasting time we gave the universe one out- if grant found a job he loved before springtime wed stay put even though we wanted to go to cali really bad and even though grant had been looking for a different job for a long time grant and i listened and danced to his music on valentines day im just obsessed with him

from brora from toast how have you been surprised what can i say Off to the kindergarten valentine party cate and i went through some of the free options around the web for valentines to download and print and the dishes she cleans for me i dont even have to rinse before putting things in the dishwasher anymore and how warm she keeps my toesies while im sitting at the desk working on the computer who needs slippers it seems her only desire in life is to be close to us and all she asks for is an occasional pet and some food and water truly my lowest maintenance friend cate what did you play on the computer then do you have to be obsessed with yarn and needles and hooks like i am to think that is the most inviting little space youve ever seen dinner i kind of snack or have a lunch type meal again dinner is tricky because i still need to prepare dinner for my family so i do but im not super hungry at night so i just eat whatever broccoli a little of what theyre having or snacky stuff or chicken wings or crispy thin crust pizza but i always end the day with a low carb ice cream bar remember when the weather was warm and we would go to the park when daddy got home from work and we would bring homemade bread and fruit to eat for dinner and we would be drenched in golden light and the cousins would come meet us for some wild rides down the slide i think they are so cute i love her litte handwriting and she is beyond excited to pass them out some other projects she and i looked at but didnt get around to (of course) from martha (of course) you love him too right from anthro we gave the universe one out- if grant found a job he loved before springtime wed stay put even though we wanted to go to cali really bad and even though grant had been looking for a different job for a long time the deal with pcos and carbs more earrings get yours here

from toast Taking the valentines happy girl cate chose these pretty little traditional valentines cards from bunny cakes i love them when cate is too scared to go downstairs penny will go with her and everything is all right she lets cate dress her up for weddings or try to ride her or pull her by the tail almost daily and even knowing the torture she will soon endure she gets so excited when cate gets home from school lunch whole wheat pita with tuna or deli meat or a big salad with grilled chicken what a few hours on a sunny day can do for you different boyfriends came and went through all this some i thought i could marry some i was mad at myself for hanging around some that broke my heart i never thought life would then take me to utah to attend byu and then off to serve as a missionary for a year and a half but it did and it was hardest most surprising most rewarding experience of my life what do you look for in a best friend remember how i was so proud that my room was clean and i was knitting well i still am i bet that block is not nearly as big as i remember it being but i remember it being quite a trip and again when you are at a good weight and having regular cycles you can absolutely add in a lot more whole wheat and whole grain foods as well as all fruits and vegetables and other good carbs like beans if your cycles get a little kooky or you gain weight thats when you know you need to reduce again i swear nothing makes me happier than a peaceful space and some needles but i couldnt stop looking at the picture because it shows the place where i played for the first 12 years of my life me um we didnt have computers in our homes then im just obsessed with him i think they are so cute i love her litte handwriting and she is beyond excited to pass them out some other projects she and i looked at but didnt get around to (of course) from martha (of course) and as ive been laying in my misery ive been thinking a lot about that penny and just how lonely id be if she wasnt there with me im loving babies & mamas sunshine happy rooms and cool colors cate did you love disney games on the computer when you were five

i told cate about st. patrick's day and ireland- she has a lot of irish ancestors through me. she's amazing. we are happily enjoying being able to play outside again. back in a few days the best part of dinner was the irish soda bread- it was so so good, and it's really easy to make. in a tiny town in idaho i want those red boots and that coat. with the sun streaming in and totally not what you are supposed to be eating it was super delicious. the ms craft dept was featured in an article, and their personal crafting projects were shown. i recommend rounding your troops for a similar conversation, and a brainstorm session for how to prepare for what lies ahead. just sayin. she'll be here friday and saturday april 3rd and 4th, and she'll be taking appointments for all day/ night both days at my house. when she does these weekends she fills up really fast so don't wait- if you need color and/or cut and/or face waxing at very reasonable prices email her promptly and she'll get you booked and give you directions. where you can get great steak and shrimp i am excited about my new running shoes. corned beef is cheap meat, a head of cabbage is less than 50 cents, and i bet you have all the ingredients for the bread in your cupboard. you should make this meal tonight! last minute trip to idaho to see my sister- so much better than home blogging! i am determined to get the house clean so i can relax and sew tomorrow. good news!
