i look for girls with purses that compliment mine dinner i kind of snack or have a lunch type meal again dinner is tricky because i still need to prepare dinner for my family so i do but im not super hungry at night so i just eat whatever broccoli a little of what theyre having or snacky stuff or chicken wings or crispy thin crust pizza but i always end the day with a low carb ice cream bar i have never been an animal person i swore id never have a dog who wants to pick up poop not me but somehow in my baby hungry weakness i was convinced to relent by the other two mccalebs who said they desperately needed a puppy fine whatever just take care of her and pick up the poop my problem dear anne is that it is 2009 kids dont like to get all fussied up anymore and i dont think they would go to the trouble of making up stories about lost broaches to be able to go to a silly church picnic in my mind the little girls are wearing spring dresses and holding parasols with their gloved hands while the boys are eating biscuits and drinking homemade rootbeer with their hats and suspenders on but i live in a dreamland where i want everything stylized i know you understand me anne i do have one faithful companion who is braving the germs penny the pug russell and then i realized i love her so much seriously though my closest friends are fun real and honest good entertaining in love with life a little crazy down to earth deep and incapable of bs ready to share the love we lived on a corner in a typical oc tract neighborhood off to the kindergarten valentines day party im just obsessed with him (but honestly i dont snack alot when you eat so much protein you dont get hungry as often through the day) i bet that block is not nearly as big as i remember it being but i remember it being quite a trip with that heres the stuff i eat salad with chicken a different salad with chicken repeat repeat this is the hard thing about it not a ton of delicious options im kind of kidding ive found a few other yummy things too all the sudden im 30 i thought id be driving a mini van full of kids and happily decorating my own home but life has shown me again that i am not in control and as i wait for more children and a sense of being settled let me explain Buoy i had a really tumultuous teenager-hood i was a happy and smart little kid it was surprising when so much angst welled up inside me

i spent a few hours organizing my yarn and needles into that armoire me um we didnt have disney games when i was five just a phone call one night she had an aneurysm and although this was a surprise of the worst kind it was the most spiritual time of my life much good and understanding has come through that loss secondly i must say i know carbohydrates arent bad i know bread is life and wheat is the staff of life a lot of fruits and veggies are quite sugary/ starchy for almost everyone eating all these foods in moderation will do them fine but remember i am trying to regulate an abnormality to a diabetic sugar is the devil to someone with celiac disease wheat is the devil to someone with milk allergies dairy is the devel and what ive come to believe that for some women who dont ovulate high blood sugar may be their devil and it definately is mine what an adventure it is you love him too right all kits are shipped phew do you have to be obsessed with yarn and needles and hooks like i am to think that is the most inviting little space youve ever seen if you eat like this people will give you crap because its so not trendy anymore but if it will help a woman who would do anything to ovulate and conceive do that (and i know personally quite a few that this was the key for) then who cares what anyone says and jennifer aniston doesnt eat carbs so there a few months in the life of this infertile girl a conversation today we gave the universe one out- if grant found a job he loved before springtime wed stay put even though we wanted to go to cali really bad and even though grant had been looking for a different job for a long time but we feel more blessed and amazed than ever at lifes unexpected twists and turns and how happy we are that there is a loving heavenly father that understands the little picture we have in our minds for our lives and gently and lovingly helps us change our vision to a masterpiece i really love life how have you been surprised what can i say where are neighborhoods like that anymore with bushes big enough to hide in and kids that go around the block together all afternoon and normal sized houses and the old winkfields next door ok i dont need the winkfields but id sure love to give my kids the rest cate (incredulously) what were you a child of adam and eve what im listening to this morningagain different boyfriends came and went through all this some i thought i could marry some i was mad at myself for hanging around some that broke my heart Taking the valentines happy girl cate and i went through some of the free options around the web for valentines to download and print

(so is corned beef if you've never tried it). there's a tiny restaurant this image of silke stoddard's knitting is burned into my mind and tatooed on my heart. she's amazing. i am blocking my two latest projects today and will show them tomorrow. simple is always prettiest to me. it was super delicious. i am so grateful for quiet time with the scriptures. pps- our topic of convo for the night was this article from the wall street journal. i am excited about my new running shoes. 4. i don't worry about a little "creative clutter" in cate's room. i say, a good dress up/ barbie mess day better than watching tv all afternoon, right? pretty soon i will just put my 'kerchief on again and go to town. (yes, that is what cate's room looks like again, just over a month after the big clean. i tell you, i'm fighting a losing battle with that girl). does that answer your question, mary? i hope it helps! wink. i have always dreamed of going to ireland, (and scotland too- mccaleb), to research our family history, and to see the green grass in real life. i found that amazing old shirt (we're big fans) at the thrift store for $1 and it's so soft. i am trying to be a patient, kind mom. we are happily enjoying being able to play outside again. she's cute good news! time for a new spring look... we ate corned beef and cabbage with irish soda bread last night in preparation for the day of the irish.

may the light always find you on a dreary day. may you always have courage to take a chance and never find frogs in your underpants. they make me smile every day. kiss me, i'm irish interested? i think it would be so fun. i was given the irish name kelly after my great grandparents' last name. (so is corned beef if you've never tried it). she's amazing. trust me, you'll want her working her magic on you. and you eat with your sunglasses on she never looks like a senator from krypton on the red carpet. like this one, from sweet mary, that she left on the clean room post: "Your house seems so organized. let's give a hand to the world, for everything it can do!! it's definately worth the long drive, but then again, we looove roadtrips. i am determined to get the house clean so i can relax and sew tomorrow. in a tiny town in idaho she'll be here friday and saturday april 3rd and 4th, and she'll be taking appointments for all day/ night both days at my house. i love her style. see you then!

What are your tips for clearing clutter so you can focus on such a project as sewing?" well mary, let me answer your question by showing you some examples of how i deal with clutter in different areas of my home: and a delicious coke. i told cate about st. patrick's day and ireland- she has a lot of irish ancestors through me. i am trying to be a patient, kind mom. have you seen april's ms living yet? i LOVE this picture and am so inspired to keep the needles moving. 2. to keep the bedrooms clear i throw all the dirty laundry in the laundry room and shut the door. out of sight, out of mind! soft and long lacy scarf light enough for spring, extra long for winter wrapping, elegant enough for church, cute enough for a tshirt...i really love this scarf pattern (gee can you tell?). my homekeeping secrets interested? i think it would be so fun. i love her style. 4. i don't worry about a little "creative clutter" in cate's room. i say, a good dress up/ barbie mess day better than watching tv all afternoon, right? pretty soon i will just put my 'kerchief on again and go to town.
