Fwd: The Fatal Attraction of Techno Fascism

Meant this for the list. Stupid google. ---------- Forwarded message --------- From: \0xDynamite <dreamingforward(a)gmail.com> Date: Mon, Aug 31, 2020 at 2:22 PM Subject: Re: The Fatal Attraction of Techno Fascism To: Punk-BatSoup-Stasi 2.0 <punks(a)tfwno.gf> > anyway, article is OK and it describes this list to a tee. Punk, do you actually have any code or math? And before you declare "oh yeah, marcos, the Joo-fascist", just remember: you probably don't have any credentials compared to the people you're criticizing. --Not that you're not a capable person, but seriously, it takes considerable effort to master the tools that allow programmers to make encryption software, for example. You should respect that, otherwise it looks like you just want attention from people who *have* mastered them. I told you the solution to this skill-based disparity in our society (between the l33ts and the luzers): hackerspaces. It's a wiki, and although it was fascist to me personally (I didn't buy into their LBGQT politics), it has usable information. \0xD

Twitter banning USA president from sharing official government data - [PEACE]

Stunning. Absolutely stunning stuff. Twitter Bans Donald Trump from Citing CDC Data http://dstormer6em3i4km.onion/twitter-bans-donald-trump-for-citing-cdc-data/ .. After a tweet containing newly released statistics from the Centers of Disease Control about the coronavirus was retweeted by President Donald Trump, Twitter deleted the tweet. [Image/ screen cap not attached.] At this point, it’s certainly not surprising that they are banning the country’s president from sharing official government data, but it is amazing. ...

Cryptocurrency: War On Cash - Moving Fast Against You
by grarpamp 31 Aug '20

https://humanevents.com/2020/08/22/media-deems-cashless-society-a-conspirac… "Don’t let the media shame you into complacence regarding a cashless society. It’s only crazy not to question such a system that clearly some have no qualms about forcing on us all." Clearly one cannot create or enjoy any liberation or freedom when one is surveilled, datamined, blocked, censored, shutdown, turned off, and thought policed into only appoved consumer channels from buying all that which is needed for and part of it. Therefore you need to fight against their "war on cash" with everything you've got. And start hedging by using with your peers and businesses real money again that is not subject to their centralized off switch... gold, silver, cryptocurrency, goods, services, private ledgers. Cashless is freedomless, and that is their plan for you. Wake Up!

Daniel Lange & Debian: DebConf, aggression towards volunteers
by Debian Community News Team 30 Aug '20

30 Aug '20

Does anybody have any facts about Daniel Lange? https://debian.community/daniel-lange-aggression-towards-volunteers/ What is really remarkable is that Debian ignored this evidence and began processing Lange's application to become a Debian Developer in the same week that they were expelling Jacob Appelbaum The arrogance and hypocrisy knows no limits Removed 2020-06-18 https://nm.debian.org/person/error/ Began application 2020-06-24, complete 2020-12-21 https://nm.debian.org/person/dlange/ -------- Forwarded Message -------- Subject: [Daniel Lange] Do some public considerations for newmaint application, good way to proceed? Date: Sun, 26 Jun 2016 19:42:26 -0400 From: Tiago Bortoletto Vaz <tiago(a)debian.org> To: debian-private(a)lists.debian.org Hi all, I've supported a few applications in the newmaint list and I never objected one. With Daniel Lange's declaration of intent I feel for the first time the need to publically do some considerations, but I don't know the best way to proceed. I'd like to make it clear that his behavior in some situations in the past are not welcome in Debian. At the same time I don't want to start a noisy thread in there. I witnessed aggressive and disrespectful behavior from Daniel against a person very close to me, both written and in person, during Debconf15. As he was not a member/whatever of the Debian community I decided to let it go. Besides that, I think he was quite harmful during the storm against the Debconf chairs. But it may be more a personal opinion. I'm aware that he's doing a lot of work for Debconf and I'm not objecting to his application. But I'll just feel bad if I say nothing at this time. Any suggestion on how to act will be appreciate on such situations. Bests, -- tiago

China reparations to world, ought include returning Tibet to the Tibetans - Wuhan China virus - [PEACE]
by Zenaan Harkness 29 Aug '20

29 Aug '20

China ought be held to return Tibet to the Tibetans, under the authority of the Dalai Llama, as part of the reparations for the China virus/ Wuhan flu. Coronavirus response in Tibet: arrests, crackdown, religious repression https://savetibet.org/coronavirus-response-in-tibet-arrests-crackdown-relig… https://tibet.net/coronavirus-response-in-tibet-arrests-crackdown-religious… .. - China has responded to the spread of coronavirus to Tibet by cracking down on people who post information online about the deadly illness, including one man who was detained by police simply for encouraging his contacts to recite prayers to ward off infection. - Chinese authorities also announced the cancellation of public religious festivals and prayer ceremonies for “Losar,” the Tibetan New Year, which begins Feb. 24. - In the wake of the outbreak, the Chinese government has activated its network of military and Chinese Community Party cadres to spread propaganda about protecting “stability”—a euphemism for the suppression of free speech and the enforcement of compliance with CCP policies. - Despite the spread of the virus, China’s leadership has chosen to move ahead with a new campaign in Tibet described as sending a “million police to 10 million homes.” The intention is to ensure “grassroots” integration of security forces in local communities. The campaign began in January and will continue throughout the year. - In contrast to the Chinese government’s heavy-handed response, the Tibetan people have reacted to the outbreak of coronavirus with compassion. Monasteries have donated funds for the purchase of facemasks and goggles, and Tibetans lit butter lamps in honour of the Chinese whistleblower who warned about the virus and subsequently died from it. https://www.yandex.com/search/?text=coronavirus%20in%20tibet&lr=10145

James Damore 2.0: Sandia labs: Casey Peterson's war on critical race theory - payback, with extra IQ :) - [PEACE]
by Zenaan Harkness 29 Aug '20

29 Aug '20

Critical Race Theory has just had war declared against its divisive ways and means: Sandia Labs Goes Nuclear On Employee Who Sparked Internal Revolt Over Critical Race Theory https://www.zerohedge.com/political/sandia-labs-goes-nuclear-employee-who-s… Sandia Labs - America's premiere government-funded nuclear weapons design lab, has taken aggressive action against an employee, Casey Peterson, who produced a viral video "pushing back on the narrative of modern systemic racism and white privilege." Here's the long and short of it via Christopher Rufo - director of the Discovery Institute's Center on Wealth & Poverty, who has directed four documentaries for PBS, Netflix and international television - and has declared 'war' on critical race theory. There is a civil war erupting at @SandiaLabs. Following my investigation, a dissident electrical engineer named Casey Peterson emailed all 16,000 employees denouncing critical race theory in the lab and hoping to spark a rebellion against Sandia executives. Here's the story.🧵 — Christopher F. Rufo (@realchrisrufo) August 27, 2020 https://twitter.com/realchrisrufo/status/1299008750729097216?ref_src=twsrc%… # long set of tweets follows # see e.g. https://t.co/vMDH2vILB7 Rufo continues: On Tuesday, Peterson made a YouTube video "pushing back back on the narrative of modern systemic racism and white privilege." The video quickly hit 10,000 views within the labs and dozens of Sandia employees contacted Peterson to express support. youtube.com/watch?v=zyNW9n… https://t.co/vMDH2vILB7 Within hours, Sandia executives dispatched a counterintelligence team to lock Peterson out of the network and scrub his communications from internal servers—which, via the Streisand Effect, made the video even more viral and sparked widespread unrest against Sandia executives. By the afternoon, executives were panicking about the brewing rebellion, placed Peterson on paid administrative leave, and established a "security review board" to "evaluate whether [his] actions have comprised or posed a threat to Sandia computing and security systems." Peterson—who took a stand at grave risk to his career—says he is speaking on behalf of all of Sandia employees who are "scared to speak out" because of the lab's repressive culture. "If I get fired because of this," Peterson says, "the fight does not end, it only intensifies." This is the first explicit rebellion against critical race theory in the federal government—and the coalition is growing. "We need to completely rip [critical race theory] out of Sandia root and stem," Peterson says. "It is cancer and we need to get it out of the labs right now." Sandia executives have made it clear: they want to force critical race theory, race-segregated trainings, and white male reeducation camps on their employees—and all dissent will be severely punished. Progressive employees will be rewarded; conservative employees will be purged. Keep this in mind: Sandia Labs is a federally-funded research agency and designs America's nuclear weapons. Senator @HawleyMO and @SecBrouillette have launched an inspector general investigation, but Sandia executives have only accelerated their purge against conservatives. Sandia executives face a decision-point: they can back down and Peterson's rebellion will notch an internal victory; or they can fire him and Peterson will become further evidence of Sandia's corrupt and repressive culture. In a sense, Peterson cannot lose. According to multiple sources, the executives who have pushed the most toxic elements of critical race theory and race-segregated trainings are James Peerey, Dori Ellis, David White (he/him), and Mark Sellers. They must be investigated by the Inspector General. pic.twitter.com/Zrhqf9aclA Here's the bottom line: this is the first shot in the rebellion against critical race theory in the federal government. Casey Peterson has taken a courageous stand and the Inspector General must conduct a full investigation of Sandia Labs—and hold executives accountable. We are opening up a multi-front war against critical race theory in the federal government: (1) investigative reporting to expose the truth; (2) internal rebellions to increase the pressure; (3) inspector general investigations; (4) laying the groundwork for an executive order. It might take time, there might be losses, but we will achieve victory! Swords up!⚔️ Prayers up! 🙏 pic.twitter.com/SYm4RmHJBp
