Propagandize the idea that, if the individual concerns himself with anything other than the Group, s/he is selfish, greedy, inhumane. s/he is a criminal. More and more, this is how the young are being trained these days. The grand "we" is being sold to them like a cheap street drug. they buy in. They believe this "we" is real, instead of a hollow con designed to drag them into a Globalist framework owned and operated by mega-corporations, banks, foundations, governments, and ubiquitous Rockefeller interests. And what of the individual, the person's mind, unique perception, independent ideas, originality, life-force? Swept away in the rush toward "a better world." I have breaking news. Earth is not a spaceship and we are not crew members. If Earth is a spaceship, it has serious design flaws, because it keeps making the same trip around the same sun every year. Each one of us does not have a specified function, as a crew member would. Going back as far as you want to in history, shortage and scarcity in the world that engendered a crisis was either created by some elite or maintained by them, for the purpose of eradicating dissent and fomenting a collectivist solution. Meaning a solution that came from the top. Meaning a solution that reduced individual freedom. In recent human history, a different idea emerged: establish severely hamstrung government, in order to protect the individual against it. This idea has had a very tough time. Collectivists have fought it every step of the way. But regardless of circumstances, the individual can author one's own freedom and what it implies. S/he can discover, within oneself, extraordinary possibilities. S/he can contemplate what it means to create reality that expresses the person's most profound desires. And then s/he can begin a voyage that no one and no group can stop. Civilizations come and go, rise and fall; the individual remains. The word "imagination," when properly understood, indicates that the individual can envision and then create futures that never were, and never would be, unless s/he invented them. Imagination is the opposite of "provincial," "restricted," "well-known," "familiar," "accepted." That is its challenge to the status quo. That is the true threat the individual poses to all predictive systems. Therefore, "it's all just information" is a psyop code-phrase. Ideas, thoughts---nothing is original, nothing is new; we all "share" information floating in the collective consciousness; the individual invents nothing. Which is the opposite of the truth. The individual invents everything. S/he can't be predicted when s/he is his or her self. S/he is not a pattern. S/he is not a system. S/he is not anyone else. S/he thrives on own inspiration. S/he is the ultimate riverboat gambler. S/he bets the house on the person's own as-yet uncreated future. S/he is not just a piece of universe. S/he is not a humble servant of Order. S/he invents the space and time of the the human person's own time to come. As early as 1961, a brilliant healer, Richard Jenkins, whom I write about in my book, the Secret Behind Secret Societies, explained what was to come. He wrote me a note, which I'm paraphrasing from memory: "People are confusing their own empathy for others with some inflated idea about group-identity. they aren't the same. People are becoming afraid of their own unique and distinct existence. This is a social fear. A new social contract is being foisted on the population. Either you belong, or you have no rights. This is a totalitarian concept. It's coming in through the back door." Well, now, it's right there at the front door. The individual still has a choice. But s/he has to make it. Explore your own power, or give it away for nothing more than an illusion of belonging. Stoke the fires within, or form a diluted image of self, and bow down to the Group. The "I" is not isolated. S/he can reach out to others whenever and however s/he wants to. The question is, is s/he moving on the ground of his or her own independence, or is s/he searching for a group life raft, to which s/he will attach or be attached without thought or hesitation? Beyond economics or politics, Globalism is a system that offers a life raft which is heading toward a machine-future. Disembark and find the great We, a construct of integrated parts, each of which is an individual, in a state of spiritual amnesia. Happiness there is function and sedation, shadowless, wiped clean of distinctions. This is the elitist end-game of social justice and equality. The Alt-Right and Antifa Are Waging a New Kind of Internet Warfare Jacob Siegel, Vice Aug 30 2017, 8:25am Intelligence and surveillance powers that once belonged only to militaries and state spooks are now available to anyone with a high-speed internet connection. Live long enough and you may hear future historians recall the war between 4chan and an art collective called LaBeouf, Rönkkö & Turner. They'll tell the story of how anonymous, interconnected imageboard users gathered clues from public video footage, like passing aircraft and the position of stars, to geolocate the roving, anti-Trump art project He Will Not Divide Us, put on by actor Shia LaBeouf and his collaborators. Records will show that the people on the group's trail—pro-Trump activists, impish saboteurs, and budding neo-Nazis—didn't need high-end spy gear. Instead, they found their mark by collecting and processing public information through decentralized and supposedly leaderless networks. It might one day look, in retrospect, like a form of social automation: continuously updating intelligence assessments converted into real-world effect by volunteer foot "soldiers" acting without orders. Or maybe the saga will be remembered as a trial run of sorts, when tactics later used in domestic guerilla warfare first appeared as sinister pranks. Whatever happens next, the genie is out of the bottle, and intelligence and surveillance capabilities that once belonged only to militaries and state spooks are now available to anyone with a high-speed internet connection. Military theorist and futurist John Robb, who wrote the influential 2008 book Brave New War: The Next Stage of Terrorism and the End of Globalization, developed the concept of "open-source insurgency" to describe emerging forms of conflict. You can see a version of it at work in the current season of political upheaval and clashes in American cities. Of course, it's violence in the streets that captures most of the attention, especially after a car plowed into a crowd amid the neo-Nazi spectacle in Charlottesville, killing counter-protester Heather Heyer and injuring many more. But in the background, much of the fighting is being done online. Memes, trolls, bans, doxes, sock puppets, and targeted disruption campaigns like the one used against LaBeouf, Rönkkö & Turner are being deployed in a cycle of attacks and counterattacks that, much like traditional military intelligence and information operations, set conditions for the next round of physical confrontation. The foundation of open-source insurgency is what Robb calls "superempowerment": "an increase in the ability of individuals and small groups to accomplish tasks/work through the combination of rapid improvements in technological tools and access to global networks." That increase, Robb argues, "has enabled small groups to radically increase their productivity in conflict." It's a concept that helps make sense of the seemingly outsized cultural clout of the alt-right, a movement built on beliefs that fail to attract more than fringe support in national surveys... This is a new low. Sonos is a high-end sound system maker, famous for being the first brand to have synchronized music in different rooms with an off-the-shelf device system. This week, they announced a new privacy policy, where they say theyll be collecting a lot of data about you, including listening in to your room and (in a roundabout way) recording it. People were justifiably quite upset. It is in response to this community reaction that Sonos does the unforgivable: Sonos states that if people dont accept the new privacy policy meaning give up their privacy in their own home completely Sonos is going to willfully destroy those peoples property. The customer can choose to acknowledge the policy, or can accept that over time their product may cease to function, the Sonos spokesperson said, specifically. Sonos is particularly sneaky about the part where they record sound. They say in their blog post that they dont keep the recordings of sound recorded in your home, with the new Voice Assistant. However, they point out that they share their collected data with a large number of parties, the services of which you have requested or authorized where people tend to read requested, but where authorized is the large part. Further, they point out that they share recorded sound with Amazon under all circumstances, and Amazon is already known to keep recordings for later use by authorities or others, so the point is kind of moot. We dont keep the recordings, we let others do it for us would be a more straightforward wording. As ZDNet notes, the communitys reaction has been quite hostile to the manufacturer who threatens to destroy their property, and not without justification. For my personal purchasing choices, behaving like this is enough to get on my blacklist of manufacturers, just like when Sony willfully infected its customers with rootkit malware in 2005, and Sony made it onto my blacklist. I don't know, it's a random list, but to take a guess, I can imagine some folks don't like how I just speak my mind. If you check out the "cypherpunks" mailing list, you will see a few very vocal individuals, one e.g. calling themselves "Razer" (not his real name), and he consistently flings around ad-hominems like "You're a Nazi" whilst refusing to actually engage in the debates or questions that are raised, and, similarly, Razer fully supports Noam Chomsky's declaration that "some facts are less equal than other facts," and therefore that you are a "problematic person" if you engage in discussion around those other facts that Noam doesn't like.
