Is The Story of the Irish Slaves Being Rewritten on the Internet ?

Archive Politics. This is how wars are fought. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - I swear that 1-2 years ago when I heard about the Irish slaves stuff for the first time I did read a wikipedia article about it stating things as things that actually happened mentioning 1million+ Irish having been enslaved in the USA. Now the only thing I find on Wikipedia regarding this is this: wikipedia.org/wiki/Irish_slaves_myth I am 100% sure that the google results to the search of "irish slaves" did not show up a single result that claimed that it is just a myth. Now it is ALL links to places where it's claimed to be a myth. What the fuck? Well, in all these rich Arab countries contracts are legally modifiable during duration. What's more is that they take your passport and ID away too, only give it back after "contract is over". So basically you live in the desert until an Arab employing you grows bored of you and then finally stops extending your contract. You can't leave - you will get charged and everyone knows how comedically neglegent Arab courts are, especially to westerners. In time, Gaul was conquered by the Germanic Franks, a people whose origins are said to have been in the modern-day Low Countries. Although a minority superstratum, the language of the Franks came to overtake that of the Gauls, as the Franks were the ruling class. Some time later, a bunch of Scandinavian Vikings invaded and settled what would become Normandy. Unlike the Franks, they failed to install their own language over their subjects, and so the Viking ruling class adopted the Frankish tongue of the locals and essentially assimilated into the local culture while retaining a degree of Viking flavor. The Duchy of Normandy remained quite fiercely independent practically into the modern era. (See: never really bending the knee to Paris, conquering Britain, moving HQ over to London, and eventually losing their Norman holdings) Anonymous 09/18/17 (Mon) 14:29:12 e5caef No.10624257 They may enjoy lying about the status of whites in Colonial America, but when there's racemixing propaganda to be spread, they're eager to show how similar the two groups were. From an old(ish) NYT print of some book: >The multiracial composition of the typical work group suggests yet another similarity between Chesapeake and Lowcountry. In both societies in the late seventeenth century, blacks more often than not were to be found laboring alongside members of other races. The South Carolina estate of John Smyth, who died in 1682, included nine Negroes, four Indians, and three whites. All sixteen undoubtedly worked shoulder to shoulder at least some of the time. The picture of Elias Horry working "many days with a Negro man at the whip saw" was hardly an isolated incident in the late-seventeenth-century Lowcountry. Similarly, in late-seventeenth-century Virginia, white servants and slaves–both Indian and black–often worked side by side. > In spite of the blacks' debased status, race relations in early Virginia were more pliable than they would later be, largely because disadvantaged blacks encountered a group of whites–indentured servants–who could claim to be similarly disadvantaged. Fraternization between the two arose from the special circumstances of plantation life in early Virginia. Black slaves tended to live scattered on small units where they were often outnumbered by white servants; more often than not, the two groups spoke the same language; the level of exploitation each group suffered inclined them to see the others as sharing their predicament. In short, the opportunity, the means, and the justification for cooperation between black slaves and white servants were all present. Racial prejudice, moreover, was apparently not strong enough to inhibit these close ties." >Not only did many blacks and whites work alongside one another, but they ate, caroused, smoked, ran away, stole, and made love together. In the summer of 1681, a graphic example of white-black companionship occurred in Henrico County. One Friday in August, Thomas Cocke's "servants" were in their master's orchard cutting down weeds. The gang included at least two white men, who were in their midtwenties and presumably either servants or tenants, and at least three slaves. After work, this mixed complement began drinking; they offered cider to other white visitors, one of whom "dranke cupp for cupp" with the "Negroes." One of the white carousers, Katherine Watkins, the wife of a Quaker, later alleged that John Long, a mulatto belonging to Cocke, had "put his yard into her and ravished" her; but other witnesses testified that she was inebriated and made sexual advances to the slaves. She had, for instance, raised the tail of Dirke's shirt, saying "he would have a good pricke," put her hand on mulatto Jack's codpiece, saying she "loved him for his Fathers sake for his Father was a very handsome young Man," and embraced Mingo "about the Necke," flung him on the bed, "Kissed him and putt her hand into his Codpiece." Thus, a number of white men exonerated their black brethren and blamed a drunken white woman for the alleged sexual indiscretion. If this was sexism, at least it was not racism. >Black and white men also stood shoulder to shoulder in more dramatic ways. In 1640, six servants belonging to Captain William Pierce and "a negro" named Emanuel belonging to Mr. Reginald stole guns, ammunition, and a skiff and sailed down the Elizabeth River in hopes of reaching the Dutch. Thirty years later, a band of white servants who hoped to escape their Eastern Shore plantations and reach New England put their faith in a black pilot as a guide. In 1676, black slaves and white servants joined together in a striking show of resistance. With Nathaniel Bacon dead and his rebellion petering out, one of the last groups to surrender was a mixed band of eighty blacks and twenty white servants. In the 1680s, a slave named Frank and a servant named Peter Wells, who were drinking in Mrs. Vaulx's parlor in York County, joined forces in fighting two yeoman whites who had insulted the slave by saying "they were not company for Negroes" and the servant by referring to his lowly status as an indentured tailor. This willingness to cooperate does not mean that white laborers regarded blacks as their equals; it may connote only a temporary coalition of interests. Nevertheless, the extent to which whites, who were exploited almost as ruthlessly as blacks, could overlook racial differences is notable. Apparently, an approximate social and economic (as opposed to legal) parity sometimes outweighed inchoate racial prejudices. http://www.nytimes.com/books/first/m/morgan-slave.html?mcubz=1 Anonymous 09/18/17 (Mon) 14:34:12 bc901e No.10624271 Threads like these are irritating because they distort the truth. These countries get extra pressured placed upon them by the PoC, and the Irish side with the niggers like they have done since forever). I'm not saying that it's not worth seeking the truth but this avenue of attack does not strengthen white nations or the white cause. It makes the Irish become ever more marxist in their outlook (assuming such a thing is possible) and thus further emphasises division in society). They say that Lefists never punch Left, regardless of whether or not it would be in their interests - it makes sense for us to never punch 'white', even if it somewhat legitimises our argument. I probably came off sounding a little bit more anti-Irish than I intended to (I didn't want to be anti-Irish at all in fact), I was just trying to make the point that pushing for Irish victimhood isn't a good way of achieving our aims, especially as it relies on us attacking other prominent white nations. In regards to "still do to this day" I was really just trying to show why it makes sense to believe that such a crime (Protestants killed on account of their faith) could happen in Ireland, seeing as even in relatively recent times there has been disgustingly violent acts for similar reasons. It's not proof that they actually did it in the first place, but it is evidence to support the English reason for war. On the other hand the idea that Cromwell, who was known for his Puritanical methods, committing the atrocities that the Irish acredit him seems very unlikely. Especially considering the almost retarded extents that this man went to so as to not go against God (or at least his vision of Christianity). The man definitely made a lot of mistakes, but seeing as it is on record that he was incredibly religious, and that he forbid his men from partaking in looting, raping and the like (something very, VERY rare at that time), and even executed some who did - it seems HIGHLY unlikely that the more sadistic acts attributed to him by the Irish happened. I can love the Anglos for the things that are good in them and the particular beauty that could only arise in the wellspring of their folk spirit. Like your stoic humour or the stiff upper lip or your fantasy literature and so on. And likewise I can be disgusted by the bad in you, like how your population always seem to patriotically support the worst kinds of rulers with your strange and depressive fatalism or your propensity for unhealthy versions of collectivism. Strange how when we spent half our time going to war with each-other over petty bullshit we still had the excess energy to subjugate and rule the world together, but now that we are obsessed over "playing nice" our countries are falling into ruin in our doddering dotage. I'm sure the Irish have their flaws too, but for an outsider like me it's hard not to sympathize. They're a people who have wanted to have their country to themselves for a very long time, and why shouldn't they have that? Frankly I'm surprised not more English nationalists support Irish separatism. Isn't that what we all want in the end, outsiders out? Good for the goose, good for the gander etc. And sorry to say, some of our tribes must bear the brunt of more criticism than others right now both for historical and current events. Britain and the US have been on the forefront of some of the worst shit for a long time and still you are the trailblazers in the shit that's going down. That doesn't mean you are all bad. In fact I'd say in the general population there's more good than bad in all three. But your rulers are shit man, there's no getting around that. Improve Cybersecurity Above Export Grade
by Ryan Carboni 18 Sep '17

Unfortunately, improving cybersecurity seems to conflict with Tor project's idea of making the Internet of Things secure. But these two essays from knowledgeable individuals are likely to be forgotten and ignored. Doing nothing is to say you want what happens to continue. I mean, a big deal was made over EFF's "well under US $250,000" DES Cracker. So let's set export grade cybersecurity at $250,000. But programming hours aren't free. How do so many liberal groups make money? How do you get others to do what you want? There are industries with actual NDAs, and prices still get estimated and posted by consultants on their blogs. Zerodium literally posts the prices. Anyway, Robert S. Litt is a pathological liar when he vouched for DES. Got promoted to the ODNI General Counsel, who went on to give advice to Clapper on lying. No one is going to condemn him. The FTC sued ASUS for insecure routers. Force these companies to use OpenWRT (or some other project) with strong default settings. Someone has to force them. Yeah, yeah. I top posted. https://www.reddit.com/r/technology/comments/70tvpi/ccleaner_compromised_to… My boss/es flipped their lid when I made the decision to use Defender with > removing admin rights to basically all the users. [MINISTRY] facts must not be aired/ discussed publicly - cultural death of a nation/ USA
by Zenaan Harkness 18 Sep '17

18 Sep '17

Some will applaud the toppling of (in PC-speak) "White Supremacist" statutes, the renaming of streets and the banning of cultural 'historical' movies such as Woodrow Wilson's "terrible truth" as he named/ commented on the movie "Birth of a Nation" - a breakthrough 3-hour "historical" in 1915! - which can no longer be aired in "the land of the free, home of the brave". The cotton-wool brigade has taken over America, and perhaps the majority acquiesce in an unspoken submission to "assumed historical guilt" or some such rubbish. Although facts will undoubtedly support the "assumed historical guilt" perspective, I call it rubbish because the individual in a community has a duty to live his own life, and support his current community whilst being the greatest he or she they can be - this is primarily a duty to oneself, and there can be little but madness in the burial of, essentially a fervent attempt to deny, one's actual past! How can our grandchildren learn from the mistakes of our grandfathers when we erase our history from our shared collective consciousness? Logic (and facts!) of course never convinced the majority... Good luck fellow humans, http://russia-insider.com/en/politics/americas-pc-plague-national-catastrop… ... The cinema’s turn has now come. Now, the brilliant movie "Gone with the Wind" runs the risk of disappearing from all American screens. The Memphis precedent will work. And they will certainly never ever show one of the first US full-length films, "The Birth of a Nation," directed by David Griffith, who, by the way, is considered the father of American cinema. It was he who laid the foundations for sensible editing and even special effects. "Birth of a Nation." 1915. Three hours. The historical period the movie was set in was the Civil War in the US and the events immediately after. The film had unprecedented battle scenes for cinema of that time. The drama lay in a gripping account of a fratricidal war and the drama of the defeated where "the White South was crushed by the Black heel of the North." Without regard to rules of war and decency. The North unleashed Black brutality on the Southern Whites in the name of revenge for the past. How can this film be shown now, especially since the birth of the awful Ku Klux Klan is also realistically depicted in the movie as well? It emerged as a necessary organization for the self-defense of Whites. And, the cavalry charges while "Ride of the Valkyries" by Wagner is playing as the score. All of this is unacceptable now, so this picture will be permanently banned from American cinemas. All of this even though the US President, Woodrow Wilson, who was a Nobel Peace Prize recipient, but who was also considered an authoritative historian, called the film "Birth of a Nation" a "terrible truth." ...

Why I can't sleep soundly with blockchain, being the cypherpunk
by Sergey Matveev 17 Sep '17

17 Sep '17

Greetings, fellow cypherpunks! There is so much hype about blockchain technologies! Everyone is fascinated about it, dream about wonderful bright cryptofuture, and stops talking with me, when hears that I do not find blockchain either interesting or useful. Why I do not like blockchains? Actually *if they would work*, from cryptographic point of view, then I have nothing against! Distributed trusted databases, timestamps and consensus making are great things to deal with. But unfortunately I see that at least Bitcoin (the biggest blockchain in use) has already failed without human-initiated regulations[0]. It failed from *cryptographic* point of view. I am cypherpunk and I am very interested and excited about cryptography subjects. Why? Because all of that is based on math and assumptions about practical impossibility of reverting many functions (you know, some kind of "2^100 of operations are required for ..."). It is valuable because you do not have to trust and rely on people *at all*. Well, except for cryptographers and similar scientists. People are the problem #1 in all security questions. They can be bribed, all of them have their price. They are error-prone, not reliable, lie and misbehave easily. I can not sleep soundly, knowing that I depend on some human. Cryptography world gives unbelievable possibility to eliminate them! If I can easily remember relatively long passphrase (100-120 characters in practice) as a key to proven strong authenticated encryption algorithm, then I am confident that my data is safe. I can use eavesdropped links and virtually any potentially vulnerable storage when cryptography is applied correctly. While noone ever know if quantum computers powerful (big) enough will be built, RSA/ElGamal/ECC stay pretty safe too. I really love the fact of security risks estimation possibility, based on current technology state and progress. People can fail you anytime -- only *hope* will keep you calm. Are you afraid of algorithms breaking possibility? Even one of the first encryption algorithm used in computer era -- DES, is still useful and secure enough in 3DES composition. If you are still frightened, then learn from soviets: their GOST 28147-89 block cipher[1], created in 1970s, still has more than 2^200 security margin. Who the hell knows what "key meshing"[2] means? But that block cipher has that kind of thing, making it immune to Sweet32 attack, appeared dozens of years after. Do not overestimate value of performance, by sacrificing its security -- perfect advice for sleeping well for years. But what about blockchains? Citing Ethereum's "problems" wiki page[3]: While a cryptographer is used to assumptions of the form "this algorithm is guaranteed to be unbreakable provided that these underlying math problems remain hard", the world of cryptoeconomics must contend with fuzzy empirical factors such as the difficulty of collusion attacks, the relative quantity of altruistic, profit-seeking and anti-altruistic parties, the level of concentration of different kinds of resources, and in some cases even sociocultural circumstances. Everything is right here. Anyway you *will* depend on people, society, its behaviour and huge quantity of empirical factors and assumptions. It is not cypherpunk's reliable and risks-predictable world -- it has nothing in common. Replacing the need to trust the human, with the need to trust the algorithm and technology -- that *is* the exact reason why I am interested in crypto. Requiring and depending on society again -- that is the exact reason why I standing aside from blockchains. They do not offer any guarantees[4], but likelihoods, lottery. Cypherpunk must rely and depend on people as little as he can. Remember cypherpunk's manifesto[5] -- spread as little unnecessary information as possible, because people *will* find ways how to harm you with it. And blockchains are broadcasting permanent storages, where most of them (with Zcash[6] exception for example) give you neither privacy nor anonymity for your personal (private) transactions. -------- Forwarded Message -------- Subject: Newsletter Autistici/Inventati - Server compromessi | Breach in A/I servers Date: Fri, 15 Sep 2017 17:03:30 +0000 (UTC) From: Autistici/Inventati <info(a)autistici.org> Reply-To: info(a)autistici.org To: rayzer(a)riseup.net ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ SERVER COMPROMESSI Niente panico, ma cambiate le password ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ BREACH IN A/I SERVERS Don't panic, but change your passwords ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ VIOLACION EN LOS SERVIDORES Ningun panico, pero cambia tus contrasenas ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ [English version below] [Version en Espanol mas abajo] **Stai ricevendo quest'email perche' hai un account o gestisci una lista o una newsletter nei server di Autistici/Inventati** Ieri, giovedi' 14 settembre, abbiamo scoperto che qualche giorno fa l'account di un amministratore e' stato compromesso. * * * [English version] **You are receiving this email because you have an email account and/or you manage a mailing list or a newsletter on Autistici/Inventati servers** Yesterday, on Thursday 14 September, we found out that a few days ago an admin account had been compromised. As soon as we spotted this intrusion, we immediately got to work for solving the problem. We have already taken the necessary mitigation measures and have secured the machines. We are still analyzing logs and reinstalling the infrastructure. We are examining the details of the situation to figure out what happened exactly. Given the nature of this intrusion, all users' data might have potentially been accessed by the intruders, but so far we have found no evidence that someone touched the mailboxes. As a minimum security requirement, you should change all your passwords and the recovery questions for your accounts (email, webdav, mailing lists and newsletters, noblogs.org) We recommend to create strong passwords for this: <https://www.autistici.org/docs/mail/passwd_safe>. We also strongly suggest, if you haven't done so already, to activate 2-factor authentication to secure the access to your account: <https://www.autistici.org/docs/2FA>. If you have already enabled 2-factor authentication, you should reset that too, by deactivating it and activating it again. If you can, always download your email messages to your personal computer, storing them with care, instead of keeping them in our servers. Tambien recuerdate de cifrar tus comunicaciones: * correo : <https://www.autistici.org/docs/mail/privacymail#3> * chat : <https://ssd.eff.org/es/module/comunic%C3%A1ndote-con-otros> Colectivo A/I ++++ 15 September 2017 Autistici-Inventati Collective http://www.inventati.org http://www.autistici.org donate: http://www.autistici.org/donate
