[ot] [spam] [wrong] crazy rambling

Alright. Boss is a politician now. Walks up to peace pagoda. Boss: "Peace pagoda, you are my enemy. Adopt my politics!" Boss opens the brain of peace pagoda and puts wires into it. Makes peace pagoda move their mouth. Peace Pagoda: "I have opposing politics to you! Please hurt me!" Peace Pagoda struggles. "??? Why would our politics ever oppose? Let us study resolving our differences!" Boss: "Peace Pagoda, your pursuit of peace is killing my people. I cannot stand for this any more. Please remove your spleen." Peace Pagoda looked for a spleen but only found peaceful architecture. Boss: "Remove your spleen, Peace Pagoda." Peace Pagoda wanted to make peace with this strange man, and began looking for architectural parts that might be spleen-like. Up walks an experienced vivisectee. Vivisectee: "Oh, Boss, it must be so hard to have the business have already taken over the world. What is there left to dominate? This simple Peace Pagoda is no match for you." Boss thinks the vivisectee is their secretary. Boss: "This Peace Pagoda thinks they can set up in my domain." Vivisectee: "We have a control program for handling Peace Pagodas. Do you remember?" Boss: "I remember. I wanted to visit their shareholder meeting myself and remind them who was in power." Boss: "Peace Pagoda, your workers are your enemies. Attack them!" Peace Pagoda didn't have workers or enemies, and didn't understand. Peace Pagoda: "This kind gift of wires in my brain; I am thinking on how your choice of gift might indicate what gifts from others you yourself would appreciate."

[ot][spam] brainwashing karl to act certain ways
by Karl 23 Jun '21

23 Jun '21

The purpose of this ridiculous thread is to help me remember a little how I act on my own. It's hard to distinguish between some of the patterns in this environment and patterns from my history. It's not all about you, Karl. Paranoia is from random events similar to past fears. Ok, let's make sure to remind karl that he doesn't like javascript on websites ... punk-stasi can do that. punk-stasi, we'll post websites with javascript on them, every time we do, call it "javashit" to help karl remember he's a hacker or whatever. "Oh, this website has javascript on it. I remember punk-stasi complaining about javascript. Javascript is so insecure! I'd better mention that since nobody else did."

[wrong] Killing the PGP web of trust
by Karl 23 Jun '21

23 Jun '21

It has been a long, weary battle to exterminate the PGP web of trust, but it has nearly concluded. The first step was to make it nearly impossible for people to use pgp. Many of our soldiers lost their lives in battles against user interface developers and alternative standardisations. Luckily, this phase of the war was won, and pop was only ever used by trackable nerds and professionals. The second phase of the war was to prison keysigning parties. Although we were extensively delayed by the deception of labeling a military conference a "party", after a few bombings we managed to make these parties seem boring and bland even to those actually interested in secret communication. The third phase was deployment of various forms of disruption of keyservers. We spread rumors that it was the use of servers that compromised people's privacy, rather than their personal choice of associating their legal name with their email address. We produced fake keys that sounded legit, and signed them with extensive fake signatures with fake timestamps, and then publicised these through spies to spread worry. We spammed keys with signatures and uploaded them to the servers en masse, to lay seige to the supply lines of this enemy. The fourth and final phase was coronavirus. By breaking all the signing parties up, we could mitm all their communications, and prevent them from forming plans to attack our borders. In the confusion we wrought by disrupting their communications, we were able to cut people off from the terrorrism of pgp altogether. Debian is shifting to use a tool from bsd, who trusted us from the start. The seeds we have planted will grow a beautiful nation of people who trust only us, and never their friends. The preceding paragraphs are shared in sarcasm. It is horrible to lose pgp, it means whoever is the best at hacking your isps controls the world, and nobody knows for sure who that is.
