Cuba and Haiti - USA Blamed With Its Ties to Propaganda, Assassination, Mercenaries, Oppression
by grarpamp 16 Jul '21

Hatian assassination squad linked to US Nationals and Corps. Cuban President Blames US-Backed "Mercenaries" For Protests, Urges "Revolutionary Citizens" Fight Back Cuba's President and Communist Party chief Miguel Diaz-Canel has blamed unprecedented large-scale protests gripping Cuba's streets this week on foreign meddling, specifically charging the United States with stoking and fueling the anti-government demonstrations which have seen fierce clashes with police. At a Monday news conference, the same day Joe Biden said "We stand with the Cuban people and their clarion call for freedom" - Diaz-Canal further called on "revolutionary" citizens to counter the protests which he said are led by "vulgar criminals". "The order to fight has been given – into the street, revolutionaries!" the Communist leader urged. He further ranted about external agitators waging a "nonconventional war" especially utilizing the internet and social media with Washington's help, slamming US-led sanctions in place for over a half-century a "policy of economic suffocation". Protests in Havana, Cuba via AFP "This policy of sanctions that prevents any kind of fuel arriving in Cuba has put us in a very difficult situation," Diaz-Canel continued while denouncing "those who seek to discredit the revolution and fracture the unity of our country." And according to BBC, "Mr Díaz-Canel said the protesters were mercenaries hired by the US to destabilise the country, and called for his supporters to go out and defend the revolution - referring to the 1959 uprising which ushered in Communist rule." Multiple international correspondents on the ground have pointed to initial small scale protest quickly exploding across the island via social media despite government attempts to impose a blackout on coverage of protests. It appears to have started south-west of Havana in Antonio de los Baños. Cubans are facing one of the worst economic crises in years which has included acute fuel and food shortages, soaring prices for basic necessities, and government mismanagement and fumbling of the coronavirus pandemic. The police and security crackdown appears to be growing in harshness, fueling further outrage in the streets... these scenes emerging from the protests in Cuba are absolutely heartbreaking :( pic.twitter.com/WHaishz4io — Rob (@robrousseau) July 12, 2021 One protester was cited by BBC as saying, "There is no food, no medicine, there is no freedom. They do not let us live." In some instances the protesters' desperation and attempted crackdown by security forces has turned violent: Posts on social media showed people overturning police cars and looting some state-owned shops which price their goods in foreign currencies. For many Cubans, these shops are the only way they can buy basic necessities but prices are high. Officials in Havana are seizing on these scenes to highlight the "criminality" of the "agitators" while calling on Cubans to safeguard the Communist revolution. The United States stands with the Cuban people seeking freedom and respect for their human rights. Violence against peaceful protestors is abhorrent. We urge restraint and respect for the voice of the people. pic.twitter.com/XYoKAM42XM — Secretary Antony Blinken (@SecBlinken) July 12, 2021 The US has responded to this escalation in rhetoric by President Diaz-Canel, with top US diplomat for Latin America, Julie Chung, stating: "We are deeply concerned by 'calls to combat' in Cuba." Meanwhile, hawkish senators like Tom Cotton and Ted Cruz have continued their calls for the Cuban regime to be consigned to the "dustbin of history" - as Cruz put it yesterday, also with the Mayor of Miami Francis Suarez going so far as to call for a Libya-style military intervention. "Arab Spring"-style US ops and intervention in the Caribbean? Re: Cuba protests. 🇨🇺🇺🇸 I'd just like to point out that the US House appropriations budget has just alloted $20 million to "democracy" projects in Cuba. What they mean by "democracy" is made clear when they say that not one penny can be used to help the Cuban govt. pic.twitter.com/InYTmw4JrH — Alan MacLeod (@AlanRMacLeod) July 12, 2021 Suarez told a rally on Monday that an international intervention led by the United States is needed "to protect the Cuban people from a bloodbath." However, we can't imagine that such simple jingoistic 'solutions' as this actually helps the protesters' cause.

Normalcy bias no longer holds at C-punks

The old Mongoloid cretinism can no longer hold with just three FBI-informant-types Gramps - Batshit and Semich More cryptoanarchy is unleashed on the world. Let’s start here by quoting the preface of Shemon Salam and Arturo Castillon’s excellent book The Revolutionary Meaning of the George Floyd Uprising: At least 28 people died in the wave of social unrest that rocked the United States from late May until July in 2020. In this 10-week period, there were 574 riots; 624 arsons; 2,382 incidents of looting; 97 police vehicles set on fire; and 12,241 people arrested for protest-related activities. In addition, at least 13 police were shot, 9 were hit by cars and 2,037 were reported injured in the riots, mostly because of the tossing of rocks, bricks, and other projectiles. This uprising caused at least $2 billion in property damage, the “highest recorded damage from social unrest in US history,” and forced more than 200 cities to impose curfews and mobilize 96,000 national guard troops in 34 states. These stats are not a Fox News pundit trying to fear-monger a right-wing audience with hyperbole, but rather come from an authentic attempt on the part of a State and capitalist funded think tank to internally study what happened for reasons of its own self-preservation. They are undoubtedly a low estimate. Thousands of hours of video footage, mountains of arrest data, and hundreds of personal stories and narratives all demonstrate conclusively that this attack on capitalist and State infrastructure was proactive, massive, widespread, popular in nature, and done by large crowds of oppressed peoples acting in coordinated and intentional rage

On indulgence - lets put to *another* side the quality of activism ledger. Lets open the books on anti-social criminality. As you argued in your AP essay it would not be ' Wild in the Streets ' chaos. I take that to mean you distinguish between anarchism and anti-social criminality. Like most of us; I certainly hope so. Onto the alleged crimes of Julian Rand Paul ASSHAT. Unless c-punks are defending the right to break and enter computers at will it appears there may be a case to answer here. If found guilty in an Au court any priors relevant to a charge may then be read. JA has priors for breaking and entering computers. US courts may be different - but could still work in this information somehow. Much as in the Ross Ulbricht case. Once some evidence is seen its hard to unsee. So long as the USG continues to exist ( despite yours and mines best efforts ) it can carry on legal proceedings as it wishes. Yes? Anyone serious about saving JA should be an APster enthusiast by now - come ON! The computer intrusion case cited may be a little shaky since Bradass was on the pointy end, which brings us to the added extra's. Espionage - he's not American - I hear you - but spies get shot, hung etc all the time as foreigners. Julius even claims to be a spy himself ( a spy for the people ) I expect the main charges here are aiding and assisting a fugitive suspected spy - Snowball - and encouraging Anon's to spy and leak for WL. Something, I'm told professional journalists don't do. These charges might be shaky as the first, and capable of graymailing aLa Joshua Shulte. But is any of this worth our while? JA has identified as a fucking lowlife, scumbag CORPSE-MEDIA journalist for years now. He sold all his crypto. He is clearly washing his hands of cypherpunks and practicing vast amounts of social-distancing from crypto-anarchism. He never raised a finger when the cops were locking you, Carl and I up. You look possessed by what you hate when you say this enemy of my enemy is my friend. But that's your funeral. For me taking down the USG is strictly business - its not personal. Yes there are some anti-social crimes associated with crypto-anarchism - but not from me or anyone close to me and I'll tell you why. Its bad for business - that's why. Associating cypherpunks with carpetbaggers and conartists is a recipe for disaster. Julio ( and Ross and Craig Wright! ) made their own bed - let them lie in it - alone. Their lies precede them and their graves lie open in front of them - revolutions famously devour their young, donchaknow. Bring on the Guillotine ( They got Capone for spitting on the sidewalk )

JIM BELL asks... Where was the discussion where people concluded that Assange was a "fascist"? Julian Assange recognised that the language of what amounted to the WikiLeaks Manifesto might appear a little “overblown”. He recognised that it had about it too much the flavour of “anarchy”. But in general when it was written he was pleased. John Young was not. In early January 2007 he decided that WikiLeaks was a CIA-backed fraud. “Fuck your cute hustle and disinformation campaign. Same old shit, working for the enemy … Fuck 'em all.” “We are going to fuck them all. Chinese mostly but not entirely a feint,” Assange cryptically replied..." https://cryptome.org/0003/assange-manne.htm And, as you lean Libertarian Party USA, JB... https://reason.com/2011/02/03/julian-assange-and-israel-sham/ Plenty more where that came from. Going by Jacob Appelbaums description of Tim May as fascist, there is as much - or more - evidence Julian Assange is one. Caveat lecter.

Put to one side for the moment whether or not Assmange is fascist or not. Does his journalism or activism or ' cypherpunk revolution' , whatever justify our solidarity and support? I would say, " No' , based on his record. He himself washed his hands of everything up to mid-2013 anyway. ( " I can rule from abroad " interview - July 2013 ) Then his anti-Hillary work was great and well worth supporting by all cypherpunks. But the problem here is attribution. That election was so close its hard to say if his contribution was decisive. Give him the benefit of the doubt and then new problems crop up with his closeness to Camp Trump. Summing up - whatever small good he did in his active period - 2005 - 2019 its negated by the piles and piles of bad. Closer to Alex Jones and Hannity than Woodward and Bernstein. Nothing really consequential to see here - sound and fury signifying nothing. A tale told by an idiot - and Pooter / LOL-GOP puppet.

The US initially didn't explain why the short stop happened, which was described in local media reports as "unannounced". It prompted a statement out of Beijing saying "Any foreign military planes landing in Taiwan need China’s approval," according to Bloomberg citing a defense ministry official statement. The Chinese statement reiterated prior warnings that the United States must "not play with fire" and to "immediately stop its risky and provocative actions." The defense ministry statement also vowed to destroy any "attempts" toward "Taiwan "independence".

The Jim Bell Project operating in US jurisdiction is entirely in keeping with the last part of the AP essay - the part all media commentary ignores completely. No reason to cast any doubt on Jims bona fides there. The problem with him now though is his support for a known fascist - Julian Rand Paul Assmange. So if he has any friends they may want to arrange an urgent intervention. I think the most suspect agents on the present list are obvious - Batshit Crazy - Gramps and Semich - the three stooges.

South Africa Melts Down, Normalcy Bias Proves Foolish Once Again
by grarpamp 16 Jul '21

16 Jul '21

"This Is Deliberate Sabotage" - South African Insider Warns This "Terrorism Has Been Coming For A Long Time" by Andre Bothma, South Africa. In KwaZulu-Natal province, where Zuma is from, supporters of the former president launched a massive, coordinated protest campaign against his incarceration. Freeways were blocked with burning tires. Vehicles were stoned. Trucks set alight across the province. And then the looting and arson started in Durban and Pietermaritzburg, two of the province’s largest cities. South Africa, once again, is making global headlines for all the wrong reasons. In case you missed the news, last week former President Jacob Zuma was sentenced to 15 months in prison for failing to appear at a corruption inquiry. It was probably a calculated risk on his part; had Zuma actually appeared at the tribunal, he may very well have been convicted and sentenced to a much harsher punishment. And when his sentence was announced, many South Africans gave a collective sigh of relief; it had been a long-overdue victory for the rule of law. But then, virtually overnight, things started falling apart — rapidly. First it was just small shops. But then entire shopping malls were looted and burned to the ground. Once the shopping malls were in ashes, these “mostly peaceful” protesters moved on to torch distribution centers and loot cargo containers in Durban’s harbor. They even rampaged against some of the region’s critical infrastructure, going as far as setting a water treatment facility on fire. At this point the riots were still localized to the KwaZulu-Natal region, Zuma’s home turf. But then the rioters started agitating for protests to break out in Johannesburg, the country’s economic capital… Nobody thought the violence was going to spread there; Johannesburg is not a Zuma stronghold, and the locals there enjoy a much greater level of affluence than those living in Zuma’s native KwaZulu-Natal. And yet, overnight, the violence spread to Johannesburg. Bear in mind that South Africa’s national police force has been recently ‘defunded’, with a massive 11.8 billion rand (roughly $750 million) budget cut. For South Africa, that’s a staggering sum of money. So with a heavily defunded police force unable to quell the violence, more ‘mostly peaceful’ protestors rampaged across these two key provinces, specifically targeting supply chain infrastructure. On Monday night, for example, rioters brazenly looted a BLOOD BANK while being filmed on live television. As things stand today, the Johannesburg and Durban downtown areas look like war zones. I live in Cape Town, which so far hasn’t erupted. But the atmosphere here is tense; people are justifiably worried. Yesterday afternoon I came home to find a police NYALA (a NYALA is an armored 4×4 riot control vehicle) speeding past my house. And the panic buying has already begun; I waited in line for ages last night at my local grocery store, only to find that many major product categories were totally sold out. The line of cars waiting outside our local petrol station told the same story. Economic analysts and observers are now sounding the alarm over food security risks; they’re saying that all the looting and burning of major infrastructure and distribution centers could cause a food shortage. But South Africa is already running out of food — the shortages are here! Across Durban, finding products like bread, milk and insulin for sale has become almost impossible. The few shops that are brave enough to remain open are selling loaves of bread for 4-5X the normal price. And good luck finding any petrol anywhere in the city. As of yesterday, the body count stood at 70. Over a billion dollars in damages to businesses and public infrastructure. Supply chains decimated and investor confidence gone… Thousands of retail jobs, gone for good, and even more at risk. The rational person needs to be intellectually honest about what’s happening right now: this is deliberate violence and sabotage designed to destroy critical infrastructure and terrify people, all in an effort to influence public policy (and free Jacob Zuma). But there’s a word for this: terrorism. And it’s been coming for a long time. South Africa has long been home to instability, corruption, and tension. We have politicians like Julius Malema who pour gasoline on racial tensions and threaten to seize private property. It’s clear that South Africa has been declining gradually. But then all this violence broke out very suddenly, practically overnight. As Simon often writes, it’s like how Hemingway described going bankrupt: “gradually, then suddenly.” Human beings are easily susceptible to normalcy bias — the bizarre voice in our heads that tells us “everything will be OK” even when the warning signs are completely obvious. Our brains simply cannot comprehend that tomorrow could be radically different than today… and that our world could be turned completely upside down. It is for reasons like these that Sovereign Man consistently writes about having a Plan B, which Simon describes as something like an insurance policy. But you can’t wait until your house is already on fire before thinking about an insurance policy. Yesterday, I spoke with a successful business owner based in KwaZulu-Natal. He runs a franchise business, and scores of shops just like his have already been looted and burned to the ground nearby. He and his wife are almost at retirement age, and have had the means to get a Plan B in place for at least the last decade. But they didn’t. They procrastinated. They put off taking action because there was no clear and present threat compelling them to do so. Now, at a time where literally no one in their right mind wants to buy commercial property in their city, they are looking to liquidate their assets to get a Portuguese Golden Visa, which gives them a flexible second residency option in Europe. Given that the application process takes several months to complete, even outside of Covid times, they’re way too late. Having a great Plan B requires NOT procrastinating… and taking the appropriate steps for your situation BEFORE anything terrible happens, while you still have the resources and presence of mind to do so. Because if you wait until the proverbial hits the fan, you’ll probably be too frantic and panicked to be thinking clearly about rational solutions. Don’t give in to normalcy bias and assume that everything will always be OK. The last 18 months should be reminder enough that things can (and do) change very quickly. Two weeks ago, South Africa was still a relatively well-functioning country. Yet the “civil” in civil society has been proven to be a precariously thin veneer.
