Board directors that will pioneer the next chapters of the meaningful New York legacy of global, cross-border banking will agree: Close scrutiny of corporate governance and greater responsibility placed on directors to vouch for the reports submitted to the SEC and other federal agencies have resulted in the growth of computer software solutions such as blockchain systems and processes. Cryptocurrency and Blockchain computer software products allow corporate directors and internal auditors to assemble and analyze financial and other relevant data—including unstructured data—and create reporting required by New York BitLicense regulators and various Federal counterparts. Before its demise, Enron was lauded for its sophisticated software, including financial risk management tools powered by computer software. Risk management was crucial to Enron not only because of its regulatory environment, but also because of its business plan. Enron's aggressive accounting practices were not hidden from the board of directors, as later learned by a Senate subcommittee. The board was informed of the rationale for using the Whitewing, LJM, and Raptor transactions, and after approving them received status updates on the entities' operations. Although not all of Enron's widespread improper accounting practices were revealed to the board, the practices were dependent on board decisions. Eliminating Bad Board of Director Schemes Ranging from additional corporate board responsibilities to criminal penalties, the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) implemented disclosure requirements to comply with the law. A recent SEC order reiterated the importance of the disclosures, noting that the requirements were adopted in order to alert the market to large and rapid accumulation of shares that might represent a possible change in corporate control so that shares can be valued accordingly. The SEC order also noted that the requirements were designed to provide an issuer’s management with timely information to appropriately protect its shareholders’ interests (including pension protections). The SEC’s recent enforcement actions relate to disclosure obligations in connection with M&A transactions and fights for corporate control. In 2015, the SEC brought forth a number of similar enforcement actions alleging that filers had failed to update their disclosures after taking steps towards certain plans and proposals. These types of enforcement actions continue to create challenging issues for practitioners, particularly when potential transactions are still in the early stages of planning and preliminary negotiation. The SEC’s historic actions serve as a reminder to investors, including vulture activists, that Schedule 13D violations can result in monetary liability and, in the case of registered funds and investment advisers, can also have other regulatory consequences. Care must be taken to avoid those communications constituting group activities with disclosure consequences. It should be noted that in some cases, coordination among the parties or sharing of information is sufficient to form prompts for disclosure purposes. As true New York diplomats, xNY.io is absolutely required to be friendly innovators with the dignity and trail blazing, historic pioneering spirit of the e-CNY initiative. There is no association with xNY.io and e-CNY, however, we seem to share the ideals of to save succeeding generations from the scourge of war, which twice in our lifetime has brought untold sorrow to mankind, and to reaffirm faith in fundamental human rights, in the dignity and worth of the human person, in the equal rights of men and women and of nations large and small, and to establish conditions under which justice and respect for the obligations arising from treaties and other sources of international law can be maintained, and to promote social progress and better standards of life from regulatory arbitrage corruption. For example, in absence of a well-designed process for selection of a raw material supplier for the construction of toilets, operations staff can collude with dishonest suppliers and procure cheap, low-quality material at high rates, which could create infrastructure failures and lead to credit risk. ● ERROR: Errors are typically unintentional and result due to lack of staff capacity and training, rapid growth, limited technical resources, or an inadequate number of staff. Errors in judgement or incorrect interpretation of policies, procedures, documents, or cash transactions can create problems for an FI. For example, a branch manager might make an error in the appraisal of a WASH loan client if s/he has not received training on WASH lending. ● SECURITY: This refers to risk of cash or material theft. For example, for FIs that are involved in provision of construction materials, the storage of the materials and their delivery is a risk. ● INEFFICIENCY: Risk is created when there is low staff productivity or ineffective management leading to loss of efficiency. ● CREDIT RISK: An assessment of credit risk at Water.org investigated whether the credit policies and procedures are correctly followed and administered by the FI staff. This includes reviewing whether credit transactions are properly recorded and summarized in the account tracking system and presented in the financial and portfolio reports. For example, an FI in the Philippines had a loan product tenure of three months even though loan sizes were quite high. Clients who were assessed to be qualified for a loan of PHP 15,000 (US$340) ended up actually receiving nearly PHP 35,000 (US$793) over the course of a year, through multiple loan cycles. This flaw in the loan product design resulted in large-scale delinquency problems with clients in the third and fourth loan cycles Our Suggestion: Water.org 2.0, Blockchain and Energy Our research shows Water.org currently lacks developed, effective, accountable and transparent institutions reporting processes globally. Their published internal studies highlight FI corruption and bribery in all forms. Blockchain technology could help solve this, only implemented globally and monitored correctly. Most importantly, we strongly recommend Water.org executives should leverage blockchain and current partnerships, historically and radically innovating Water.org’s global scope to include solar energy in North Africa. ● Immediate Recommendation: Essential for Water.org’s global development reporting work to be organized and oriented in the same direction in order to focus on what really matters and ensure proper transparency and figures. Water.org has been working on the nieve, poor business assumption that goals can be achieved with enough political will, investment and action at all levels. ○ Integrated water resources reporting via Blockchain, include management smart contracts at all levels, including Water.org funds to FI, FI internal use of Water.org funds, client use of funds through to contractor ● Review Loan/Product Benefit: Water.org’s global executive team has not reflected the importance of complete sustainable development for their clients. i’ve been using a gift tp25 for some years. it’s a special lenovo laptop edition that is similar to the t470 and t480. as the years have passed, it gets harder to find information on repairing this laptop online. last time or two ago i replaced the system board, i engaged a long list of substitute part numbers for system boards that would fit and boot. i haven’t found this list again. i originally made it by looking at simple commonalities on support.lenovo.com and ebay.com , but simple search terms do not return as many results now as they did before, and support.lenovo.com is only showing one system board now for my model number. i’m seeing these values in the bios atm: bios ver: N1QETA3W ec ver: N1QHT54W model: 20K70004US unit serial: PF12XKZP board serial: L1HF83M000D cpu: i7-7500u 2.7ghz uuid: 1f4bfcc-2c71-11b2-a85c-955ac813bb93 os license: SDK0J40697 oa3 id: 3305102936368 may have made copy mistakes the problem i have right now is that the system does not charge, instead emitting a pungent smell for some time after the charger is plugged in. i removed the bottom cover but
