Matthew Levitt needs killing ( My 2k sats )
by professor rat 06 Sep '22

06 Sep '22

Last April, Matthew Levitt, director of the Jeanette and Eli Reinhard Program on Counterterrorism and Intelligence at The Washington Institute for Near East Policy, told Cointelegraph that while crypto has been linked to several terror financing cases, “it has not yet become a primary means of terror financing.” How dare SUH! I demand satisfaction.

And here I was just about to give up them! https://cointelegraph.com/news/terror-groups-may-turn-to-nfts-to-raise-fund… When cypherpunks are called terrorists more often ( we have two ' techno-terrorists ' confirmed so far ) we will be doing our job better. Never doubt a few dedicated assassins can change history - sometimes in fact they have been the only thing that changed history. Reposts etc.

FT on quantum hype's Bell curve
by professor rat 06 Sep '22

>>> The quantum computing bubble at the Financial Times, where Nikita Gourianov argues that there’s a speculative bubble going on in this field, and: Well, when exactly the bubble will pop is difficult to say, but at some point the claims will be found out and the funding will dry up. I just hope that when the music stops and the bubble pops, the public will still listen to us physicists. For a response to this, see a later article at the Financial Times: Separating quantum hype from quantum reality. <<< https://www.math.columbia.edu/~woit/wordpress/?p=13044#respond Reposts etc
