Cryptocurrency Mixnets Strong Privacy Quantum Blockchains

Quantum-secured blockchain - Kiktenko https://arxiv.org/abs/1705.09258 And the only cryptocurrencies people should trust will be the Distributed P2P Transaction Mineable AnonPriv Cryptocurrencies, aka not Fiat, else there's no point, just use GovCoin, BankCoin, or CorpCoin, they're all the same... ShitCoin. > This technology, if it exists, which I doubt, secures the channels > through which crypto coins are sent Considering end users won't be able to buy the quantum hardware, optical links, etc needed for the QKD anytime soon... privacy coins over Mix Darknets WiFi are for now at least reasonable channel security for some use cases. This paper blurbs Zcash and Loopix ... Extending the Anonymity of Zcash - Kappos, Piotrowska https://arxiv.org/abs/1902.07337 And note that software PQC for all the parts... secure keying, algos, passphrases, blockchain bits, etc, is also rolling.. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Post-quantum_cryptography https://pqcrypto.org/ https://csrc.nist.gov/Projects/Post-Quantum-Cryptography infohash:B07C61F8452F23B9D9936551D1A6DE7CF61FDD9F infohash:3233EBD08587C5E8B806B2B5375BF4975E8A2519 > Which messages are then added to the blockchain in the clear, for > everyone to see, forever. Which means it's no better than Fiat, thus pointless. At last survey long ago, afaik only the Zero Knowledge Proof ZKP family of coins, Zcash.io ZEC, Zencash ZEN, Zclassic ZCL, etc, had actually put the entire transaction behind strong cryptography... senders, receivers, amounts, change, etc. Monero XMR, the CoinJoin family, etc, are all doing other approaches. And there's no real reason to hold anything other than the UTXO database set. Lots of projects are working on distributed consensus state machines now... https://blog.acolyer.org/2019/03/08/a-generalised-solution-to-distributed-c… https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=19343398 With luck everything in cryptocurrency will be far more advanced, anon / private, scalable, and adopted by 2029. Someone really should maintain a list of cryptocurrency projects that are seriously working on these topics instead of being just another ICO, token, centralized censorable spyable Fiat, etc.

literally censored - By order of The Ministry, ZeroHedge.com shall be banned; Zuckerberg, Chief Truth Enforcer - [PEACE] [MINISTRY]
by Zenaan Harkness 12 Mar '19

Well, well, well. Well well, well well well‼ Who'da thunked to "shut it down"? :D ALL Zerowedgie links literally censor blocked off Facebook. “But muh muffuluggerin private statute protected state enforced private megoligopoly corporation, muffaluggerah!” Facebook Bans Zero Hedge https://www.zerohedge.com/news/2019-03-11/facebook-bans-zero-hedge Over the weekend, we were surprised to learn that some readers were prevented by Facebook when attempting to share Zero Hedge articles. Subsequently it emerged that virtually every attempt to share or merely mention an article, including in private messages, would be actively blocked by the world's largest social network, with the explanation that "the link you tried to visit goes against our community standards." … We were surprised by this action as neither prior to this seemingly arbitrary act of censorship, nor since, were we contacted by Facebook with an explanation of what "community standard" had been violated or what particular filter or article had triggered the blanket rejection of all Zero Hedge content. To be sure, as a for-profit enterprise with its own unique set of corporate "ethics", Facebook has every right to impose whatever filters it desires on the media shared on its platform. [MUFFALUGGERAH! Did I mention "muffaluggerah?" Cause DAMN!] It is entirely possible that one or more posts was flagged by Facebook's "triggered" readers who merely alerted a censorship algo which blocked all content. Alternatively, it is just as possible that Facebook simply decided to no longer allow its users to share our content in retaliation for our extensive coverage of what some have dubbed the platform's "many problems", including chronic privacy violations, https://www.zerohedge.com/news/2019-03-05/internal-facebook-leak-reveals-gl… mass abandonment by younger users https://www.zerohedge.com/news/2019-03-10/over-17-million-younger-facebook-… , its gross and ongoing misrepresentation of fake users https://www.zerohedge.com/news/2019-01-24/facebook-slides-after-report-clai… , ironically - in retrospect - its systematic censorship https://www.zerohedge.com/news/2019-01-17/facebook-now-censoring-talk-about… and back door government cooperation https://www.zerohedge.com/news/2019-03-08/government-facebook-pipeline-reve… (those are just links from the past few weeks). Unfortunately, as noted above, we still don't know what exact event precipitated this censorship, and any attempts to get feedback from the company with the $500 billion market cap, have so far remained unanswered. We would welcome this opportunity to engage Facebook in a constructive dialog over the company's decision to impose a blanket ban on Zero Hedge content. Alternatively, we will probably not lose much sleep if that fails to occur: unlike other websites, we are lucky in that only a tiny fraction of our inbound traffic originates at Facebook, with most of our readers arriving here directly without the aid of search engines (Google banned us from its News platform, for reasons still unknown, shortly after the Trump victory) or referrals. https://www.zerohedge.com/news/2017-01-25/google-permanently-bans-200-fake-… https://www.zerohedge.com/news/2017-08-21/one-statistics-professor-was-just… https://www.zerohedge.com/news/2018-09-21/google-explored-ways-bias-immigra… https://zerohedge.whotrades.com/blog/43109872936 That said, with Facebook increasingly under political, regulatory and market scrutiny for its arbitrary internal decisions on what content to promote and what to snuff, its ever declining user engagement, and its soaring content surveillance costs, such censorship is hardly evidence of the platform's "openness" to discourse, its advocacy of free speech, or its willingness to listen to and encourage non-mainstream opinions, even if such "discourse" takes place in some fake user "click farm" somewhere in Calcutta.

If you're not running for Political Office in Germany, yes it is. Same goes for any other country, including the USA. Until then, they will simply overrule you and not give a shit about your pithy little sign waving protests, wannabe online activism, and low dollar lobbying... you're deleted, you're not really competition they have to care about. Re-educating the public masses out from under childhood indoctrination is a decades slow process, infiltrating your self / agenda into Office is much faster... witness them doing it every election cycle ;) Or you could try in the open like Free State Project / Pirate Party. When Facebook, Google, Governments and whatever other anti-privacy surveillors data brokers/miners, spies, control force freaks, taxing thieves for war torture murder... go bankrupt, you win. Win you open multiple fronts, writing and/or vetoing laws to help do it, it'll happen a bit faster... if you're actually not, or don't become, one of them... which is rare... as no revolution in history has ever lasted... yet. " European Police Congress: Away with the Darknet At the European Police Congress in Berlin, a ban on Darknets in free democratic states was called for. To start on one's own behalf is supposedly bad style. But this note is necessary this time: heise online operates since 2016, the hot tipster, which is accessible, inter alia, via Tor and whistleblowers a secure contact address in this "Darknet" allows, which was used several times. No room for Tor If the current federal government decides, then this may be a criminal offense in the future. At the opening of the 22nd European Police Congress in Berlin, Günter Krings, Parliamentary State Secretary in the Federal Ministry of the Interior, demanded a radical ban on Tor: "I understand why the Darknet can be of use in autocratic systems, but in a free, open democracy, I think for no legitimate benefits, those who use the Darknet are usually up to no good, and this simple realization should also be reflected in our legal system. " The needs of whistleblowers have no place in the world view of Krings, which demanded a second IT security law, which should be implemented later this year. In the remainder of his speech, the CDU politician was primarily concerned with the SPD-led Ministry of Justice, which in his view, the propagated pact for the rule of law systematically undermines and delays. It would have long been possible to settle the question of what should happen to German jihad fighters who want to get rid of Kurds and Syrians, said the State Secretary. However, Krings praised the tool RADAR-iTE, which reliably identifies and classifies Islamists on a three-level scale. Krings was followed in the opening ceremony by Wolfgang Sobotka, President of the Austrian National Council. He praised China for not having any inhibitions and successfully ignoring data protection when analyzing citizens. His statement that there is a human right to political asylum, but no human right to asylum for economic or social reasons, fit into the picture he drew. European Border Patrol ... "

RF Hacking Banned and Cashless Fiat Loving Statists

https://www.theregister.co.uk/2019/03/11/eu_directive_ban_rf_radio_firmware… The EU is looking to block users from tinkering the firmware/software of their RF devices. This seems to have been very under reported, with a fairly short consultation period that has now expired. It could force manufacturers to lock down phones and routers etc to stop you from installing the likes of Lineage OS or OpenWRT. The way this is written it could stop devices like laptops or Raspberry Pi's having their software changed. From the report: The controversy centres on Article 3(3)(i) of the EU Radio Equipment Directive, which was passed into law back in 2014. However, an EU working group is now about to define precisely which devices will be subject to the directive -- and academics, researchers, individual "makers" and software companies are worried that their activities and business models will be outlawed. Article 3(3)(i) states that RF gear sold in the EU must support "certain features in order to ensure that software can only be loaded into the radio equipment where the compliance of the combination of the radio equipment and software has been demonstrated." If the law is implemented in its most potentially harmful form, no third-party firmware could be installed onto something like a home router, for example. https://www.usatoday.com/story/tech/talkingtech/2019/03/09/dont-ditch-cash-… https://news.slashdot.org/story/19/03/11/050247/usa-today-tech-columnist-mi… "I haven't had a nickel, dime, quarter or penny in my pocket for two years," writes USA Today tech columnist Jefferson Graham, adding "Why bother? We're now living in what's quickly becoming a cashless society, where credit cards or electronic payments on your phone rule." His column is addressed to the mayor of Philadelphia, who this week signed a bill that bans cashless stores. Mr. Mayor. It's happening all over the world, and not just from Amazon. We are going cashless. Maybe not in your lifetime, but certainly for millennials. Banks and credit card companies want this to curb the costs of handling green. Selected merchants are into it now... USA Today's Charisse Jones discovered that cash purchases were down to 30 percent of all retail transactions as of last year compared to 40 percent in 2012. Millennials, she noted here this week, are saying no to cash, with 21 percent of those 23- to 34 years old saying that most of their transactions were in cash in 2016.... Mobile pay is still a sliver of overall retail sales, but it's definitely on the rise. Target, a long holdout, just added Apple Pay to one of its options, following in the footsteps of Best Buy, CVS, Costco and other retail giants who now accept payment via iPhone. The big, lone holdout right now is Walmart, the No. 1 retailer. It does have its own mobile pay app, that links bank payments to QR codes. And Mr. Mayor, good news for you. Walmart still accepts cash, too. But for how long?
