Please keep K-9 Rikki in your thoughts today as he is undergoing surgery to remove a suspected tumor. This was located just yesterday on his left testicle by Dr. Blair Cornman. Due to a cancellation, luckily she was able to get him in this morning. Good news is that she is neutering him after an ultrasound this am, which is expected to take care of the entire problem. We were supposed to leave today to participate in the Yoube 5K in Kentucky, but this is obviously more important for the health of our Nation

Happy birthday to me! As I enter a new year, I feel compelled to do something, to put my feet on the ground for kids. 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️ I have been feeling helpless about the world hunger crisis— millions of children are suffering from acute malnutrition and 16,000 children are at immediate risk of dying from preventable causes. I’ve been lucky enough to find myself on the giving side of life and I am lucky enough to have 16 years as an ambassador and Trustee for @savethechildren, an organization I love and trus

https://www.facebook.com/reel/1062354062483087/?sfnsn=mo&mibextid=6aamW6 Happy birthday to me! I’ve been lucky enough to find myself on the giving side of life and I am lucky enough to have 16 years as an ambassador and Trustee for @savethechildren, an organization I love and trust. Save is embedded in these communities, committed to caring for the world’s most vulnerable. It costs $67 to provide six weeks of ready-to-eat therapeutic food (RUTF) to bring one child from acute malnutrition to the chance at a healthy, thriving life. I have and, God willing, will continue to donate to Save the Children. This moment in time feels like a larger call to action is needed. So I am running (not my best or favorite activity, I’m a 🐢 🦥 🐌) one mile a day, no matter what, for the next 67 days. Run, walk, bike, wheel, skateboard, crawl for kids. Join me for one mile or for 67—any time between now and June 22nd—tag us at #67Strong4Kids and we’ll keep each other going. If you’d like to donate $6.70 or $16.70 or $67.00, the link is in my bio. ♥️ See you tomorrow.

Re: xNY.io - Bank.org: Kim Cattrall BAFTA Exclusive Interview; 2025 SUMMER OF LOVE; Prince of Wales Boards Helicopter; THE GHETTO VIOLENCE AND CRIME

*xNY.io - Bank.org is excited to announce our campaign, "2025 SUMMER OF LOVE" from April 15, 2025 through December 15, 2025.* *Prince of Wales Boards Helicopter & Prince of Wales Arrives at BAFTAs (and other videos): * - *https://www.facebook.com/reel/1827574018031589?mibextid=9drbnH&s=yWDuG2&fs=e* <https://www.facebook.com/reel/1827574018031589?mibextid=9drbnH&s=yWDuG2&fs=e> - *https://www.facebook.com/share/v/1EMwv9uqWD/* <https://www.facebook.com/share/v/1EMwv9uqWD/> - *https://www.facebook.com/reel/1421684045477950?mibextid=9drbnH&s=yWDuG2&fs=e* <https://www.facebook.com/reel/1421684045477950?mibextid=9drbnH&s=yWDuG2&fs=e> - *https://www.facebook.com/reel/1935763340542313?mibextid=9drbnH&s=yWDuG2&fs=e* <https://www.facebook.com/reel/1935763340542313?mibextid=9drbnH&s=yWDuG2&fs=e> THE GHETTO VIOLENCE AND CRIME Art Director: William Hopkins Designer: Allen Hurlburt Photographer: Art Kane Publisher: Cowles Communications, Inc./Look Magazine It reeks of restless anger. Its tene- ments are teeming, ratty black nests for splintered families. Its rural migrants clot together as outcasts of the inner city on gutter- foul streets. But, like the dark face of the moon, the ghetto is invisible -- except when it erupts before our eyes in the fiery gasoline - bomb brightness of its people's impotent rage. Crime and violence are symp- toms of urban de- cay -- from the si- lent violence of a sick child's death to the impersonal viciousness of a rioter. But lawless- ness extends beyond the ghetto. With an all-time high of 12,093 homi- cides last year, the Great Society is a tense society. Almost three times as many of our autos are stolen each year as the U.S.S.R. produces. We cry for law & order -- but our need is law, order and justice. Only from this can grow hope for the ghetto and the decent subsistence hu- man life demands. 646 Highlights to A-Course-in-Miracles.pdf: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1v9ATR9oaOWVly5CzRO6r0FRVG8NJ8-J1/view?usp=… *Self-Concept versus Self* The learning of the world is built upon a concept of the self adjusted to the world's reality. It fits it well. For this an image is that suits a world of shadows and illusions. Here it walks at home, where what it sees is one with it. The building of a concept of the self is what the learning of the world is for. This is its purpose; that you come without a self, and make one as you go along. And by the time you reach "maturity" you have perfected it, to meet the world on equal terms, at one with its demands.
