"… it is a fact that there exists among the anarchists a self-styled individualist minority which is a permanent cause of unpleasantness and weakness. And, now that the anarchists are in a ferment over preparations for the future, it is worthwhile to re-examine the question calmly and without preconceptions. I shall do so briefly from my point of view as a communist or associationist; others will do so, should they wish, from the individualist point of view. (I use the word ‘associationist’ as an alternative to the word ‘communist,’ not because I like pointless new jargon, but because I forsee the possibility that the communist anarchists will gradually abandon the term ‘communist’; it is growing in ambivalence and falling into disrepute as a result of Russian ‘communist’ despotism. If the term is eventually abandoned this will be a repetition of what happened with the word ‘socialist.’ https://theanarchistlibrary.org/library/errico-malatesta-individualism-and-…

Kyle Rittenhouse - Dead Man Walking
by professor rat 13 Nov '21

13 Nov '21

For the purposes of this deadpool he's a man ( My 20 sats ) sannewman - Nov 11 Does anyone believe that if a Black kid had driven to another state with an illegal firearm, shot three right-wing protesters, then posed for snapshots laughing and drinking with some antifa guys, there would be any chance of him walking free ArtfulDodger183 - 22h Replying to @RepPress @b1daly and @joshtpm Seems to me that I can remember a time when bystanders who chased a person with an ‘assault rifle’ away from crowds would be considered heroes not aggressors or however they’re being portrayed. OhNoSheTwitnt Kyle Rittenhouse at age 17 & with no license, drove across state lines with an illegal AR-15 to hunt BLM protesters, shot 3 people, killing 2. He is not a medic or EMT & took no medical supplies. He’d talked about shooting people at CVS weeks prior. But sure. He idolized cops.

Its always Smee, Smee, Smee with these scurvy conservative landlubbers. And why should we trust any Captain Sandy or Captain Lee when we can verify primaries tips on the blockchain? As Bakunin often said, " Power corrupts and absolute power over tips corrupts absolutely " The present tipping system is corrupt and rotten. Bit like Gramps old garbage-scow.

In blockchain-enabled games, players can truly own goods
by professor rat 12 Nov '21

12 Nov '21

" . . . the vision is to move past the current gaming paradigm. "In blockchain-enabled games, players can truly own goods, rather than making pure entertainment expenditures," it wrote in a press release. "Players around the world can freely trade goods and services with each other, and can participate in community economies that reward creativity, collaboration, and skill." https://decrypt.co/85966/cosmos-solana-ventures-join-725m-series-b-crypto-g… Repost - not endorsement ( Note for list morons )

Defragging Crypto
by professor rat 12 Nov '21

12 Nov '21

While too much is being asked of the term " Crypto ", its politics are becoming more of an issue since its economic reach and power keeps rapidly increasing. By drilling down a little on the politics we might then identify some crypto-anarchy crypto that's good and some ' cyber-liberty ' crypto that's bad. I say we rope Btc off into a ' bad cluster ' since its attracted so many bad actors - Gold-buggers, Anti-vaxxers, pro-nuke, Mars invading MAGA-type morons, etc. Bad ideas cling together and they'll cling to us if we let them. But phasing Btc out doesn't mean losing crypto-anarchist momentum now there are alt-coins ready to take up any slack. It does, however mean losing a lot of greenwashing garbage hopelessly trying to cover up Btc's unconscionable C02 emissions. So may I count on your support? Its a reciprocal arrangement.

https://anarchistnews.org/content/anarchists-firebomb-police-station Most political reformers have some part of the unfree system they wish to abolish Republicans would abolish the monarchy, Secularists would abolish or disestablish the Church, Socialists would (or used to) wish to abolish the apparatus of exploitation; pacifists would abolish the Army. Anarchism is unique in wishing to abolish all.
