A detention order would not be in accordance with the principle of proportionality. The public prosecutor reopened the preliminary investigation on May 13, 2019 and applied for a detention order at the Court on May 20, 2019. The suspicion of crime is rape, less serious incident, in Enköping in 2010. The Court has, at a hearing today, decided that there is probable cause for the suspicion of rape, less serious incident, and that there is a risk that Julian Assange will fail to appear or in some other way avoid participation in the investigation and the following proceedings. The Court has, however, found that a detention order would not be in accordance with the principle of proportionality. Since Julian Assange is serving a prison sentence the public prosecutor can proceed with the preliminary investigation by issuing a European Investigation Order.

How they’re compartmented, screened, and arranged to create a resilient communication network. No doubt al-Baghdadi is aware that a flawed courier scheme was a significant factor in the downfall of Osama bin Laden. Edward Snowden likes to promote strong cryptography. Leaving people with the notion that staying under the radar is a matter of leveraging a technical quick fix. But recent history shows that trusting your life to an allegedly secure communication platform is an act of faith. And not an advisable one, especially when state sponsored operators enter the picture. Achieving higher levels of security requires a disciplined process which is anything but a quick fix and which often entails giving up technology. Quite helpful suggestions. Probably should give up use of "leak" due to it becoming a marketing term, It now exaggerates, over-emphasizes content, "coutures," vaunts the predictable and traceable process from source to outlet. Public library could work, just deposit material in a place to be found, discovered, almost accidentally, belatedly, maybe never, or right away, rather than greedily hyped to the max by media monsters which twist the content to favor the commercial industry (including the promo-addled gov, NGO, op-ed, essay, speech, SM, mail lists, et al). Searching for and possibly sharing (or not) material on your own, at your own pace, at your own method, in a widely varying terrain, without spoon feeding by computer, print, TED, influencer, headliner, hustlers and promoters is far better because it limits external, highly-biased management of understanding and subsequent action. Marketing has fucked consumers (marketing term) online and offline, not just with illusory privacy and security, but by excluding and demeaning "unimportant" information. It deliberately distorts, okay, lies and thereby encourages consumers to do the same as normality. It may take an effort to overcome what "education" has instilled in its consumers about significance, obedience, careerism, language, technology, finance, arts, the works. Leaks scream, most often incoherently, and induce screaming and babbling in response. Silence is worth practicing, avoid being noticed, angered, goaded, offended and responsive behavior documented. Trust and truth these days are cheap desperate houswifey brands. So too democracy. The Libre RISCV SoC was begun as a way for users to regain trust and ownership of the hardware that they legitimately purchase. This processor will be the first of its kind, as the first commercial SoC designed to give users the hardware and software source code of the 3D GPU, Video Decoder, main processor, boot process and the OS. Shockingly, in the year 2019, whilst there are dozens of SoCs with full source code that are missing either a VPU or a GPU (such as the TI OMAP Series and Xilinx ZYNQ7000s), there does not exist a single commercial embedded SoC which has full source code for the bootloader, CPU, VPU and GPU. The iMX6 for example has etnaviv support for its GPU however the VPU is proprietary, and all of Rockchip and Allwinner's offerings use either MALI or PowerVR yet their VPUs have full source (reverse engineered in the case of Allwinner). This processor, which will be quad core dual issue 800mhz RV64GC and capable of running full GNU/Linux SMP OSes, with 720p video playback and embedded level 25fps 3D performance in around 2.5 watts at 28nm, is designed to address that imbalance. While it was little noticed at the time, Facebook's presentation on its work towards moving AI-powered content moderation from its data centers directly onto users' phones presents a perfect blueprint for Seehofer's vision. Touting the importance of edge content moderation, Facebook specifically cited the need to be able to scan the unencrypted contents of users' messages in an end-to-end encrypted environment to prevent them from being able to share content that deviated from Facebook's acceptable speech guidelines. This would actually allow a government like Germany to proactively prevent unauthorized speech before it is ever uttered, by using court orders to force Facebook to expand its censorship list for German users of its platform. Even more worryingly, Facebook's presentation alluded to the company's need to covertly harvest unencrypted illicit messages from users' devices without their knowledge and before the content has been encrypted or after it has been decrypted, using the client application itself to access the encrypted-in-transit content. While it stopped short of saying it was actively building such a backdoor, the company noted that when edge content moderation flagged a post in an end-to-end encrypted conversation as a violation, the company needed to be able to access the unencrypted contents to further train its algorithms, which would likely require transmitting an unencrypted copy from the user's device directly to Facebook without their approval. Could this be the solution Germany has been searching for? The article warns that by "sparking the idea of being able to silently harvest those decrypted conversations on the client side, Facebook is inadvertently telegraphing to anti-encryption governments that there are ways to bypass encryption while also bypassing the encryption debate."

Both suffer excessive secrecy as if wedded in a vainglorious conspiracy to claim to protect and reveal much but carefully dispense only that which buttresses their information and power control, eyeing and emulating one another to guarantee mutual benefits. Neither fully serves the populace, instead disdains consumers, propagandas for product, adopts one another's practices, revolving doors their practitioners, aided and abetted by governments pretending to act on behalf of their subjects. Prosecutors, judges, legislators, executives, lockstep with each other and with their ostensible opponents, especially the governmentally-privileged wealthy, NGOs, journalists and manufactures of weaponry, hardware and software, paid and free. Periodic orchestrated campaigns of Ellsbergs, Mannings, Snowdens, et al, signal breakaway insiders but merely confirm these are standard operating procedures for limited disclosure to boost reputations of disclosers and non-disclosers. The Internet promised a change with free software, free access, free discourse, and immediately became dominated by practitioners of duplicity, openness concealing secrecy, deceptions long established. Witness this very forum and its vanity description on Wikipedia. Or more telling, the Web, Wikimedia and Archive, kissing cousins of Google, SM, aggregators, bots, Tor, Deep Web, all dancing to the tune of TLAs with Terms of Service, privacy policies, redactions, omissions, secure submissions, open source vetting, which baldly disclose cooperation with authorities, trust us even so.
