Free speech may be banned by any mega corporation, because they are a private for-profit company and can therefore do whatever they want. Oh, sorry, Google is a --public-- for profit company, is a near monopoly, and can therefore do whatever it wants. Because banning a competing communication platform which has no agenda per-se other than to enable the free speech that for example is being trampled on by Google, is OK when you slander that platform with something like: Google: this is an App already! and this app "Advocates against groups of people" Really? One of those never gonna present a fact "Razer" moments evidently, but this time from a global near-monopoly behemoth for profit "public" company, which has all sorts of statutory privileges by virtue of its statutory nature - almost an arm of the government. Alright, Google is an arm of the US Government, effectively, clandestinely, and ultimately quite publicly, as essentially every USA corporation is. Google - where slander is ok when it's from Google, and also when Google's slander is against an App and not against a human. Lauren "Kangz Rule" Weinstein is sounding more like Razer by the day... Daily Stormer Hit From All Sides

Everyone's favorite Neo-Nazi parody and trolling site, The Daily Stormer, written by Andrew Anglin, has had a bad several days. They published an article calling the road rage victim at the "Unite the Right" rally a "fat childless 32-year-old slut," and the forces of political correctness went wild. GoDaddy gave them 24 hours to find a new domain registrar, and they moved to Google. Google cancelled their registration and froze the domain, preventing them from moving it again, effectively stealing it. They came back up as dailystormer.wang, in Chinese jurisdiction, but that domain was seized after a few hours. They then tried dailystormer.ru, but Cloudflare then dumped them after a Quartz article accused Cloudflare of "Enabling Hate." Twitter then cancelled their status page. They've managed to get an onion address up, at dstormer6em3i4km.onion which points to the few places they haven't been kicked off of yet. With major chunks of important Internet infrastructure in the hands of giant private corporations, who can decline service to anyone at any time for any reason, unpopular speech can get stomped on without it technically being "censorship", which is regulation of speech by the government. Reading The Daily Stormer doesn't make anyone a Nazi, anymore than reading The Landover Baptist Church makes someone a Baptist. My Opinion on Fighting Neo-Nazis and the Future of Free Expression

Due to inflation my opinion has increased in value from two to three cents. https://www.eff.org/deeplinks/2017/08/fighting-neo-nazis-future-free-expres… This talk about free speech runs contrary to libertarian values about not having borders. Offending people is not protected by the non-aggression principle, and so the risk of people entering a space to experience undesired speech is too great a risk. As the number of rights expand, so must the number of freedoms decrease. It is too far to call the Daily Stormer vitriolic and abusive, it is clearly only in bad taste and puerile. For some reason after the Reagan administration, everyone became more puritan, and no one can even directly discuss any subject matter so I will say it: Calling anyone who died a fat slut is far outside civilized speech, and is certainly not something to be joked about in public. Yes, what GoDaddy, Google, and Cloudflare did was dangerous. So did what Obama did ( https://www.eff.org/deeplinks/2017/02/documents-about-financial-censorship-… ). Yes, it is terrible that states and malicious actors censors others through DDOS attacks, why are DDOS attacks ignored as speech? Those state owned computers should be blocked from the internet. I too agree with net neutrality and think "internet intermediaries" shouldn't make much content based decisions, outside of that needed to maintain service.
