re "Universal Human Values" and the 10 commandments -- [gilmay97@gmail.com: We need to think about Australia!!!!!! NOW] - [MINISTRY] [PEACE]

So I got an email a few days ago claiming that the "10 commandments" are "universal human values". The issue with objecting to such a statement (which I did) is that one needs to carefully word such an objection if one wishes to not be seen to oppose those "of the 10 commandments" that one does not oppose. If I was talking to one of those amazing "computer programmers" (I think that's what they're called), then they would likely immediately comprehend logic, but on the other hand I was talking (emailing) with fellow deplorables... As synchronicity would have it, within minutes and out of the blue, I received the below email, which presented itself as a self evident response to highlight to illusion of so-called "universal human values" and the myth of "those poor Africans needing our help to survive". And for double bonus lampshade points with soap bubbles on top, the email was an extensive --first hand experience-- of said "universal human values" in at least one part of Africa. Might be useful to dispel the odd "escaped six ovens and a masturbation machine", you know, like, "true" story, wink wink, nudge nudge: https://judicial-inc-archive.blogspot.com/2010/08/nazi-masturbation-machine… (At least in that case, the Western Australia published book's author got, exposed, for his "colourful" and "vibrant" story... and yes, the book got un-published (is that a word?).) Zenaan ----- Forwarded message from Gil May <gilmay97(a)gmail.com> ----- From: Gil May <gilmay97(a)gmail.com> Date: Wed, 3 Oct 2018 18:54:48 +1000 Subject: We need to think about Australia!!!!!! NOW *January 17, 2018* What I Learned in the Peace Corps in Africa : Trump Is Right By Karin McQuillan <https://eur02.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.americ…> Three weeks after college, I flew to Senegal, West Africa, to run a community center in a rural town. Life was placid, with no danger, except to your health. That danger was considerable, because it was, in the words of the Peace Corps doctor, "a fecalized environment." In plain English: s--- is everywhere. People defecate on the open ground, and the feces is blown with the dust – onto you, your clothes, your food, the water. He warned us the first day of training: do not even touch water. Human feces carries parasites <https://eur02.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fen.wikipe…> that bore through your skin and cause organ failure. Never in my wildest dreams would I have imagined that a few decades later, liberals would be pushing the lie that Western civilization is no better than a third-world country. Or would teach two generations of our kids that loving your own culture and wanting to preserve it are racism. Last time I was in Paris, I saw a beautiful African woman in a grand boubou have her child defecate on the sidewalk next to Notre Dame Cathedral. The French police officer, ten steps from her, turned his head not to see. I have seen. I am not turning my head and pretending unpleasant things are not true. Senegal was not a hellhole. Very poor people can lead happy, meaningful lives in their own cultures' terms. But they are not our terms. The excrement is the least of it. Our basic ideas of human relations, right and wrong, are incompatible. As a twenty-one-year-old starting out in the Peace Corps, I loved Senegal. In fact, I was euphoric. I quickly made friends and had an adopted family. I relished the feeling of the brotherhood of man. People were open, willing to share their lives and, after they knew you, their innermost thoughts. The longer I lived there, the more I understood: it became blindingly obvious that the Senegalese are not the same as us. The truths we hold to be self-evident are not evident to the Senegalese. How could they be? Their reality is totally different. You can't understand anything in Senegal using American terms. Take something as basic as family. Family was a few hundred people, extending out to second and third cousins. All the men in one generation were called "father." Senegalese are Muslim, with up to four wives. Girls had their clitorises cut off at puberty. (I witnessed this, at what I thought was going to be a nice coming-of-age ceremony, like a bat mitzvah or confirmation.) Sex, I was told, did not include kissing. Love and friendship in marriage were Western ideas. Fidelity was not a thing. Married women would have sex for a few cents to have cash for the market. What I did witness every day was that women were worked half to death. Wives raised the food and fed their own children, did the heavy labor of walking miles to gather wood for the fire, drew water from the well or public faucet, pounded grain with heavy hand-held pestles, lived in their own huts, and had conjugal visits from their husbands on a rotating basis with their co-wives. Their husbands lazed in the shade of the trees. Yet family was crucial to people there in a way Americans cannot comprehend. The Ten Commandments were not disobeyed – they were unknown. The value system was the exact opposite. You were supposed to steal everything you can to give to your own relatives. There are some Westernized Africans who try to rebel against the system. They fail. We hear a lot about the kleptocratic elites of Africa. The kleptocracy extends through the whole society. My town had a medical clinic donated by international agencies. The medicine was stolen by the medical workers and sold to the local store. If you were sick and didn't have money, drop dead. That was normal. <https://eur02.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.americ…> So here in the States, when we discovered that my 98-year-old father's Muslim health aide from Nigeria had stolen his clothes and wasn't bathing him, I wasn't surprised. It was familiar. In Senegal, corruption ruled, from top to bottom. Go to the post office, and the clerk would name an outrageous price for a stamp. After paying the bribe, you still didn't know it if it would be mailed or thrown out. That was normal. One of my most vivid memories was from the clinic. One day, as the wait grew hotter in the 110-degree heat, an old woman two feet from the medical aides – who were chatting in the shade of a mango tree instead of working – collapsed to the ground They turned their heads so as not to see her and kept talking. She lay there in the dirt. Callousness to the sick was normal. Americans think it is a universal human instinct to do unto others as you would have them do unto you. It's not. It seems natural to us because we live in a Bible-based Judeo-Christian culture. We think the Protestant work ethic is universal. It's not. My town was full of young men doing nothing. They were waiting for a government job. There was no private enterprise. Private business was not illegal, just impossible, given the nightmare of a third-world bureaucratic kleptocracy. It is also incompatible with Senegalese insistence on taking care of relatives. All the little stores in Senegal were owned by Mauritanians. If a Senegalese wanted to run a little store, he'd go to another country. The reason? Your friends and relatives would ask you for stuff for free, and you would have to say yes. End of your business. You are not allowed to be a selfish individual and say no to relatives. The result: Everyone has nothing. The more I worked there and visited government officials doing absolutely nothing, the more I realized that no one in Senegal had the idea that a job means work. A job is something given to you by a relative. It provides the place where you steal everything to give back to your family. I couldn't wait to get home. So why would I want to bring Africa here? Non-Westerners do not magically become American by arriving on our shores with a visa. For the rest of my life, I enjoyed the greatest gift of the Peace Corps: I love and treasure America more than ever. I take seriously my responsibility to defend our culture and our country and pass on the American heritage to the next generation. African problems <https://eur02.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.doiser…> are made worse by our aid efforts. Senegal is full of smart, capable people. They will eventually solve their own country's problems. They will do it on their terms, not ours. The solution is not to bring Africans here. We are lectured by Democrats that we must privilege third-world immigration by the hundred million with chain migration. They tell us we must end America as a white <https://eur02.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fnewrepubl…>, Western, Judeo-Christian, capitalist nation – to prove we are not racist. I don't need to prove a thing. Leftists want open borders because they resent whites, resent Western achievements, and hate America. They want to destroy America as we know it. As President Trump asked, why would we do that? We have the right to choose what kind of country to live in. I was happy to donate a year of my life as a young woman to help the poor Senegalese. I am not willing to donate my country. * We need to think about Australia!!!!!! NOW* ----- End forwarded message -----

Alpha Release: Katzenpost Mixnet (Reliable Loopix)
by grarpamp 03 Oct '18

03 Oct '18

Broader participation invited on this one now... ---------- Forwarded message ---------- Date: Wed, 3 Oct 2018 Subject: Alpha Release: Katzenpost Mixnet Hi! We have recently released an alpha version of a mix network (high latency anonymity) based on the Loopix design [1], as part of a four-year research project funded by the European Commission. Loopix uses the Sphinx cryptographic packet format, the Poisson mix strategy, three kinds of decoy traffic and a stratified mix topology. It’s Provider architecture forces long term statistical disclosure attacks to take place on the receiver’s Provider, thus forcing such adversaries to actively compromise Providers instead of passively observing the mix network which is in contrast to historical mix network designs. X25519, Noise XX plus NewHope Simple, SURBs, keyservers, reliable out of order delivery, it's all there! We are looking for testers of our software (Linux/Mac/Android, potentially Windows?), and reviewers of our specification documents and general documentation. https://katzenpost.mixnetworks.org/ Presentation slides: https://katzenpost.mixnetworks.org/_static/slides/2018-09-katzenpost-presen… We're interested also in extending our research partnerships: There are still some open questions that we feel like have not been answered yet by anonymity research, and we hope our framework becomes a valuable contribution to that space. Get in touch! -- Moritz Bartl [1] The Loopix Anonymity System”, USENIX 2017, https://arxiv.org/pdf/1703.00536.pdf _______________________________________________

AA: “it is not at all ideal to have a society be determined by the funniest thing” - [PEACE]
by Zenaan Harkness 03 Oct '18

03 Oct '18

OK, this is really wierd because it seems sadly true, that is, that the direction of society is being determined by the funniest thing. One might do a double take on Andrew Anglin's words here, but it rings true, and like, damn, may be he's wrong! As in no Andrew, the direction of society being determined by the funniest memes may just produce a (literally) great outcome. ?? Or may be? Who knows... If comedy and memes become the dominant defining causative factors of "the West", is this a problem? Or it may be irrelevant - but it doesn't look irrelevant, as certainly, CNN's share price has discovered the value <ahem> of memes :D "Privileged Huwaite thinker PhD wanna be study in the offing" or something it seems. It Truly is Something for a Leftist Meme to Make Me lol https://dailystormer.name/it-truly-is-something-for-a-leftist-meme-to-make-…

TIME RUNNING OUT: Privacy about to be criminalized in Australia - [MINISTRY] [PEACE] [CHILLING EFFECTS]
by Zenaan Harkness 02 Oct '18

Our liberties are close to going up in smoke, folks! Legislation is on its 2nd of 3 readings. $50K+ fines and 5 to 10 years jail for "Anybody who refuses to help the authorities crack a computer system when ordered". These (proposed) sentences are merely for refusing to give your phone PIN or computer (or other) password. Australia already has absolute despotism "on the books" - i.e. as part of the "anti terror legislation", already! (Arbitrary detention, no lawyer, no telling anyone, family must not tell anyone, solitary detention, torture, all in the name of "anti terror".) ALL WE ARE WAITING FOR (besides a little more of the despotic legislation, for example see below), is an actual despotic dictator as head of state and a 9/11 or "Pearl Harbour" type event - for example a global financial "reset" (started at the whim of the Rothschilds family of course, just like 1939). Something worse than Orwell's 1984 is nearly here folks. Be alert, Zenaan Daily Mail Now the police want your passwords – and you could be fined $60,000 or put in prison for five years if you refuse Alison Bevege 2018-09-27 https://www.msn.com/en-au/news/australia/now-the-police-want-your-passwords… People could face up to five years' in jail if they do not give their laptop password or mobile phone PIN to the authorities under proposed changes to the law. Home Affairs Minister Peter Dutton introduced the new laws to the Parliament, saying they are needed to help police and spies catch criminals who are hiding behind encryption technology. But civil libertarians say the changes go too far. 'The bill is a draconian measure to grant law enforcement authorities unacceptable surveillance powers that invade Australians' civil rights,' said Liberal Democrats Senator David Leyonhjelm in an emailed statement to Daily Mail Australia. 'It appears that people who are not even suspected of committing a crime can face a fine of up to $50,000 and up to five years' imprisonment for declining to provide a password to their smartphone, computer or other electronic devices.' The penalty unit fine is actually more than $50,000 asthe value of a penalty unit has recently been increased to $210. img: a group of police officers riding on the back of a man: Civil libertarians are worried the new laws go too far towards making Australia a police state© Provided by Associated Newspapers Limited Civil libertarians are worried the new laws go too far towards making Australia a police state Anybody who refuses to help the authorities crack a computer system when ordered will face up to five years jail. If the crime being investigated is terrorism, the penalty for non-compliance is increased to 10 years' jail or $126,000. If Parliament passes the bill, tech companies will have to help authorities crack the encryption on users devices when told to help - or face up to $10 million in fines. If anybody at the company tells anybody that they have been told to do it, they will face up to five years' in jail. This will give authorities access to your protected online information in the event of an investigation. Under the legislation, foreign countries can also ask Australia's Attorney General for police to access data in your computer to help them investigate law-breaking overseas. img: a man holding a sign: A 46-year-old British-Australian software developer had his password-protected laptop and phone seized and inspected by Australian Border Force officers at Sydney Airport last month© Provided by Associated Newspapers Limited A 46-year-old British-Australian software developer had his password-protected laptop and phone seized and inspected by Australian Border Force officers at Sydney Airport last month For the bill to become law, it has to pass through three readings in the federal Parliament. It is now on its second reading. More than 14,000 submissions of concern about the Telecommunications and Other Legislation Amendment (Assistance and Access) Bill 2018 have been received. Submissions are open until October 19 so there is still time for you to have your say. img: a person standing in front of a fence: If anybody refuses to help the authorities crack into a computer system they face up to 5 years' jail or 10 years' if they are investigating a terrorism offence.© Provided by Associated Newspapers Limited If anybody refuses to help the authorities crack into a computer system they face up to 5 years' jail or 10 years' if they are investigating a terrorism offence. As the Australian Government grapples with new technology challenging law enforcement and national security, lawmakers have passed increasingly tough legislation affecting individual rights over the past five years. Some in the community have become concerned about the risk of the authorities having too much power. 'This is another extension of powers which goes well beyond what is reasonable and necessary in a democracy,' said NSW Council of Civil Liberties vice-president Lesley Lynch. img: a person holding an object in her hand: If you don't give your mobile PIN or password when directed, you could face five years' jail© Provided by Associated Newspapers Limited If you don't give your mobile PIN or password when directed, you could face five years' jail There is also reportedly a potential conflict between Australia's legislation and tough new data privacy laws passed in Europe. A 46-year-old British software developer had his password-protected laptop and phone seized by Australian Border Force (ABF) officers earlier this year as he travelled through Sydney Airport. The ABF would not say whether any files had been copied, but did inspect his devices. Nathan Hague told The Guardian he believed the ABF had cracked his laptop password and inspected his files. He said this potentially compromises his business, putting it in breach of Europe's tough new GDPR data privacy laws and he would have to give privacy breach notifications to his clients.
