Teh Linux kernel's BPF is soon to take over the world - Linus once half joked that the goal of Linux is nothing short of world domination, but it's taken ~30 years to get here with BPF rapidaly rising the totem pole: Comment: https://lwn.net/Articles/773497/ LLVM bitcode, in addition to the lack of portability between LLVM releases etc, is a hell of a lot further from the machine than (e)BPF is. BPF is really quite remarkably easy to JIT down to x86_64 and most other modern machine languages, and the interpreter core is pretty small and easy to read as well, as such things go: most opcodes translate directly into a little bit of obvious C acting directly on the variables that hold the register contents. (Far more work goes into the verifier, which of course is necessary even, perhaps especially, if you're JITting). One sign that BPF is nicely designed: as someone who's been hand-writing BPF recently (rewriting a code generator that used to generate output for a much more, ah, *verbose* intermediate representation with many more opcodes), whenever I found I needed a particular opcode, it was there, and nothing I didn't need was there except the weird historical stuff to do packet content inspection. I like BPF. I thought I'd hate it, because all such things are generally hateful, but it's not hateful at all: it has no horrible irregularities that make you scream and most of the annoying limits as a general-purpose-but-verified language (stack size, etc, lack of even constrained loops, etc) are being raised or fixed as we speak. If any language takes over its world like BPF is doing, I'm happy it's BPF that's doing so. Roughly a third say Jews use the Holocaust to advance their own goals. … Just 54 percent say Israel has the right to exist as a Jewish state. … Anti-Semitism has been a fact of European life for more than 2,000 years. Welp, ya gotta wonder why these facts are not actually refuted - over and over, and over again Jewish publications such as Haaretz and NYT cry about poll figures or social unrest revolving around Jews and "oy vey, all dis anti-semitism!" yet never, ever, is the core issue addressed - is it the behaviour of Israel that has people stand up for the Palestinians? Is it the truth of the facts of extreme Jewish influence over most of American "political life", the Federal Reserve and therefore all business and the economy and therefore the economic well being, or soon to be something slightly different? Where is the lie in people's belief that Jews use the Holocaust to advance their own goals? As they say, facts have this odd tendency to speak for themselves. Hey Everyone, It has come to my attention that there are people trying to impersonate me. Trying to claim Bitcoins promised to me years ago which I left to a community member for safe keeping. I do not fully recall who'm I interacted with back in the 2000's as my memory is poor. Though lately for some reason being around exactly 10 years ago I am recalling some interactions. So if what I describe reminds you of a conversation please email me. As I do not wish to risk my property getting in bad hands. I have everything I need to prove my claim. I have recalled a lot of things regarding the early days of Bitcoin which are not public knowledge. Ask me anything? I can as well if need be agree to an in person meeting if it is required to prove my claim. Though I would rather keep my anonymity unless the community really wants me to become more public. I could see myself as a more open figure like the rest of the blockchain community & developers as the times have changed since the 2000's. In 10 years Bitcoin has gotten a lot more mainstream and we are ready to move forward to the next level of implementation. I have a few ideas ;) Best, Kamoshi Natosato

Roth accused Walsh of being an "anti-Semite." Roth's charge had followed Walsh's factual repudiation of the works of Lea and Loeb, whose account of the Jews in Spain during Isabella's reign held popular sway but had been challenged as historically dubious, if not anti-Catholic. Walsh's famous reply to Roth's ad-hominem attack was published in "The Dublin Review, A Quarterly and Critical Journal, October 1932, London: Burns Oates and Washbourne Ltd., pp. 232-25," wherein Walsh wrote: "Dr. Roth begins by accusing me of reading Spanish history 'with the eyes of the wildest anti-Semite'.
