1984: YouTube to Shut Itself via ID and Credit Based Age Restrictions, Tracking, to Watch Any Videos, EU AMSD
by grarpamp 22 Sep '20

22 Sep '20

https://www.axios.com/youtube-age-restrictions-children-91db71e5-390d-4f07-… " YouTube said Tuesday that it has updated its technology to enable the tech giant to better enforce its age restriction policies. The company has been criticized and penalized for its policies and architecture that displayed harmful content to kids and violated children's data privacy. The company is announcing three new changes: It will begin using machine learning to automatically apply age restrictions to content on its platform around the world. It's using technology to identify age-restrictive content so that when viewers discover age-restricted videos embedded on most third-party websites, they will now be required to log in to watch those videos in order to verify their age. It will start to request that some users in Europe verify their age with a valid ID or credit card, in response to new EU regulations, like the Audiovisual Media Services Directive. "

Leaks: Leaking Tips re FinCEN Files Leaked (Not Really)
by grarpamp 22 Sep '20

> https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/topics/cl0514elpqet/fincen-files https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FinCEN_Files https://www.buzzfeednews.com/article/jasonleopold/fincen-files-financial-sc… https://www.icij.org/investigations/fincen-files/ Some analysts note that most such paper "crimes" are not actual violations of the NAP (theft, fraud), but are non-crimes of NAP compliant free open markets and of people and businesses justly avoiding theft by GovCorp. Of course BuzzFeed and ICIJ are censoring and witholding the actual dataset to suit their own tilted political and commercial purposes. If readily possible in risk model, never leak your load and only copy solely to news outlets, it will often be abused and even dropped against your intents. First, push the dataset to IPFS, Bittorrent, MegaUpload, I2P/Tor upload sites, etc. Be redundant like that. Sign your stuff. Include an intent and overview README. Then post the links on many public clearnet and darknet forums. Then send the links to dDoSecrets, Cryptome, WikiLeaks, etc. Then last to brick and mortar journos and online rags. Keep in mind that a good crypted leak and link will never be corrupted, sequestered or misappropriated... the journos and sites always are. Far better and longer guides exist on the darknets, seek them as needed. 1984: Biometrics - USA Bill to Force Biometrics From Its Citizens, Privacy, Surveillance, Control
by grarpamp 22 Sep '20

22 Sep '20

https://beta.regulations.gov/document/USCIS-2019-0007-0001 https://news.bloomberglaw.com/daily-labor-report/dhs-announces-new-plan-to-… You were warned it was coming for you, now here it is. And with Drones, Total internet and telephone Surveillance, Papers required to Travel [1], Social Credit Scoring (down-caste-ing), and Marxist Democrats coming for your guns... all documented in news. You've well and truly fucked yourselves and your country. There's only one way out and it ain't looking pretty. Good luck, lol. [1] https://papersplease.org/ Mandatory biometrics gathering of iris images, palm and voice prints, facial recognition images, and DNA from Natural Born and lawful US Citizens. "The Department of Homeland Security also for the first time would gather that data from American citizens sponsoring or benefiting from a visa application. Years in the making, the biometrics immigration rule has garnered more than 160 comments since its Sept. 11 publication. The 30-day comment period closes on Oct 13. The 300-plus-page plan updates current biometrics requirements so that "any applicant, petitioner, sponsor, beneficiary, or individual filing or associated with an immigration benefit or request, including U.S. citizens, must appear for biometrics collection without regard to age" The DHS estimates an additional 2.17 million new biometrics submissions will be collected annually, an increase from the current 3.9 million, under the rule. The DHS already collects fingerprints from some visa applicants. The new rule would expand that biometrics-gathering to iris images, palm- and voice- prints, facial recognition images, and DNA. The agency wants authority to require or request DNA testing to prove familial relationships where kinship is in question. The DNA data could be stored indefinitely, under the proposed rule." Not to mention all the "Drivers Licence" biometric identity cards, "geneology" websites, vacuumed into traded among Federal, State, corporate databases. " If Americans stand still for this, the beginning of the end of your experiment in representative democracy starts here. And it will spread rapidly beyond your borders. There isn't a government on the planet that isn't thirsty for this kind of capability to destroy the very idea of the term "private citizen". Also, is anybody stupid enough to believe that once the precedent for this kind of data collection is set, it will end at immigrants and their sponsors? If you think about it, you'll realize it already goes a lot further than the identified target groups. Anyone supporting this is either a damned fool or a fascist. "

Cryptocurrency: US Homeland Security CipherTrace Can Now Track Privacy Crypto Monero XMR

Monero-XMR has a huge army of retarded drug addicted fanbois shilling XMR privacy without knowing a clue about what its actual technical capabilities and weaknesses may or may not be. Cash Fusion and Cash Shuffle (commonly noted with BCH but applicable to other coins, such as CoinJoin JoinMarket with BTC) are also heavily shilled in similar manner by similar low quality crowds... interesting protocols, but probably not exactly quite ready to be staking lives on them as claimed by some. And most comparative "reviews" of privacy coins to date are a joke as far as in depth academic analysis goes. Simply put, many coin privacy technologies suffer from all of too few, too early, or too low quality statistical and cryptographic analysis to be making the claims their crowds are making about them. A privacy coin leveraging both some cryptographic and statistical privacy elements/tools could be interesting, were either alone thought to be weak or early in the maturity cycle. " While the tools were developed for the use of the DHS to track stolen or illegally used funds, CipherTrace suggests that crypto exchanges, trading desks, and investment funds will also benefit from knowing that they aren’t accepting tainted funds. " Censorship of all that which cannot be publicly proven to be "good", "approved", and "politically correct" uses and sources, that's these "suggestions", the intended rollout of these colored-coin regimes. And clearly reason why impenetrable privacy coins are needed. Amazing they are not yet sniffing all $hundos for cocaine, booty sweat DNA, and fully tracking the serial numbers with ID at every transaction point. No worries, that's coming next soon. And here we see CipherTrace CEO Dave Jevans outright lying about what privacy is, and exposing his twisted activism against privacy among GovCorp, in Media, shilling weak tech as sound, etc... " Although today’s announcement would seem to be a blow against Monero and the promise of privacy coins, CipherTrace paints it as a positive for the future of XMR—particularly given that it has been delisted from some exchanges. "Analytics is crucial to the survival of privacy coins because, if they cannot evaluate risks, some governments could make transacting with privacy coins extremely difficult or ban them outright, like Japan,” said CipherTrace CEO Dave Jevans, in a statement provided by the company. “Several Korean Exchanges delisted privacy coins and, just last week, several Australian exchanges banned Monero and Zcash. As privacy advocates ourselves, our hope is that by developing capabilities for tracing Monero, we can help to ensure Monero's viability." "

Onions: Bittorrent Clouds and ThePirateBay Still Flying High within OnionLand
by grarpamp 21 Sep '20

21 Sep '20

http://piratebayztemzmv.onion/ Irrelevant to recent news of various clearnet domains lost, The Pirate Bay, and many other clearnet torrent services that have adopted onions and other overlay networks, are still running free, fine, and uncensored within OnionLand for many years now. You can join, and create new, large torrent clouds operating entirely within v2 OnionLand (no exit ever) by using OnionCat, OpenTracker, Transmission-BT, and the firewall of your OS. https://www.onioncat.org/ https://github.com/rahra/onioncat https://erdgeist.org/arts/software/opentracker/ https://erdgeist.org/gitweb/opentracker/ https://transmissionbt.com/ https://github.com/transmission/transmission OnionCat also gives you IPv6 and UDP transport inside OnionLand, a layer 3 VPN switch of sorts, so you can use any IPv6 enabled application, including advanced distributed P2P mesh messaging, voice telephony, filestorage, cryptocurrency, etc... some apps that might otherwise not work at all over onions. "ping" also works :) Your use of Tor's onion network, regardless of application, even web browsing, consumes node bandwidth and other resources from tor totalling roughly equal to 7x your own bandwidth use of it. So for a net zero impact, you would like to run a non-exit relay to offer, give, and restore that much back to onionland, whether on average / idle / realtime. Use the rate limits of your OS, tor and BT clients together to set that up so that up to 7/8ths of the pipe setup is dynamically allotted priority to such externally driven tor throughput (other users of tor network) through your non-exit relay. Once up and running, you can fetch and seed your favorite datas with your peers entirely within OnionLand with no more risk of annoying ISP shutdowns, anti-freespeech GovCorp courts, fines, etc... than the overlay network itself being shutdown. Earth: Wildlife In Catastrophic Decline Due To Human Destruction
by grarpamp 21 Sep '20

21 Sep '20

https://www.nature.com/articles/s41586-020-2705-y https://f.hubspotusercontent20.net/hubfs/4783129/LPR/PDFs/ENGLISH-FULL.pdf Wildlife populations have fallen by more than two-thirds in less than 50 years, according to a major report (PDF) by the conservation group WWF. The report says this "catastrophic decline" shows no sign of slowing. And it warns that nature is being destroyed by humans at a rate never seen before. The report looked at thousands of different wildlife species monitored by conservation scientists in habitats across the world. They recorded an average 68% fall in more than 20,000 populations of mammals, birds, amphibians, reptiles and fish since 1970. Measuring the variety of all life on Earth is complex, with a number of different measures. Taken together, they provide evidence that biodiversity is being destroyed at a rate unprecedented in human history. This particular report uses an index of whether populations of wildlife are going up or down. It does not tell us the number of species lost, or extinctions. The largest declines are in tropical areas. The drop of 94% for Latin America and the Caribbean is the largest anywhere in the world, driven by a cocktail of threats to reptiles, amphibians and birds. Research published in the journal Nature suggests that to turn the tide we must transform the way we produce and consume food, including reducing food waste and eating food with a lower environmental impact.
