[personal][spam][spam][spam] Basic Life Activities

Hi, this is private. The iguana story really influenced me. I'm ignoring grarpamp's reply due to the influence. I could really use a wide variety of kinds of caring influence in my life. I have not been able to find them, anywhere. Here's another story. A: My toothbrush is mind controlling me. B: No. Toothbrushes don't do that. A: For real! A: [turns eyes a little toward toothbrush] Toothbrush: [sits there, in the distance] A: [eyes glaze over] A: YES MASTER I WILL BRUSH WITH YOU. B: Um. A: It's okay, he's been mind controlling me for some time now. B: [walks hypnotically toward toothbrush] B: [toothbrushing noises] -- C: We must free this poor person from their toothbrush. B: They said it was okay. C: Would you ever trust a slave who said they were okay? A: [returns, teeth sparkling clean] A: I just meant like, I wasn't being injured, and was used to it. A: [wincing in pain, gums are bloody] A: Is it bad? B: I dunno. What is it like, being mind controlled 'by your toothbrush'? A: Whenever I turn my eyes toward the toothbrush, I zone out and listen, I can barely help it. A: All of me is focused on the toothbrush, nothing else mat-- B: Um, ok. -- B: C, OBEY: Do not ask what the toothbrush does to you when you walk toward it. C: I WILL OBEY. -- B: [turns eyes toward toothbrush] B: So, um, these experiences don't happen except when you turn your eyes toward your toothbrush? A: No, only from the toothbrush! B: YES MASTER I WILL BRUSH WITH YOU. -- Epilogue: The toothbrush was making money for somebody via a social network. He is upgrading to a robot of his very own.

More Random Popup Trolls Whining About Crypto [woodpeckers]

On 12/18/21, Woody Wood <thedogsh(a)gmail.com> wrote: > Sorry, but I thought this was cypherpunks. Not a place to push political > agendas and covid theories. > > I joined this list hoping to learn and engage in some cryptography > discussions. Yet another never before seen popup agent troll, whose first post is to engage in zero crypto talk, replying to some random months old post whose content is apparently of utmost importance to them, lol. Cpunks write code, they don't have to do it gratis on any fora for you for your silent non-participatory leech consumption, and they may do it as a tool they think may assist or dissolve such news-exposed politics politicians power governments force etc, among other reasons, which they don't have to share either. But they are here, and there, and are researching, writing, releasing, and doing. It's a free list, if Mr. Popup-a-Woody that TheDogShat upon wants to "learn and engage" in crypto talk here, best step up and do just that... Talk Write Crypto Code stuffs. zep wrote: > There are very few people here who are interested in cryptography False. > They prefer politics instead of privacy Funny those that are too triggered by simple news of politicians slapping them in the face with their anti-privacy regimes, yes too triggered by mere presence of such topics, to realize that privacy is still very much alive and well as an underlying fundamental here. Without news, there would be no awareness and motivation to counter things, no efforts to try wielding crypto in battles that none even thought to consider or knew might need or could be fought, even without any posters interpretive commentary. In fact there are years and years of threadposts on censorship and encrypted crypto political moves by politicians being made against human freedom, more freedom being removed and power added every day, giving you awareness that censorship anti-freedom globalism politician maneuvers Govt and Corp etc must be countered, exposed, fought. And what of the shatting upon those messengers. Crypto is free to talk and write here, quit whining and do that.

Filesharing: Bittorrent and Tor [re: Leaks, magnets, etc]
by grarpamp 19 Dec '21

>>> magnet:?xt=urn:btih:A6EF4D336F11BC502BB76006D669E695C959BE79 > magnet:?xt=urn:btih:DB37E82521500BEE7570F97479225D825B0598DB If people want people using anonymous overlay exit networks such as tor to be able to participate in and perhaps support bittorrent clouds, they have to announce to the worlds most popular trackers, and include those trackers in their magnets, and they must be http[s], because neither UDP trackers nor UDP DHT work across tor exits, not without tunneling vpn which hardly works well with tor for the UDP things either, and https because http is often censored and logged. Tor+OnionCat also exists to create fully functional bittorrent clouds that are contained entirely within onionland [can also horizon over exit-ipv6]. But Tor Project tries to kill features that people actually can and are using at users own acceptable tradeoff levels, and Tor Project completely censors all talk about such useful things. Thus, "Tor Stinks -- NSA" Here are some repos that can help you build such large automagic tor bittorrent clouds, that are reasonably anonymous for generic purposes, and much more anonymous than raw BT solely over clearnet, and the bandwidth delivered across such tor clouds is also quite good, especially when contributing back both tor relay and BT nodes to it... # Enable OnionLand+IPv6+UDP https://github.com/rahra/onioncat # Bootstrap peers for DHT/PEX https://erdgeist.org/gitweb/opentracker https://github.com/corralpeltzer/newtrackon https://github.com/ngosang/trackerslist # Run with DHT/PEX https://github.com/transmission/transmission https://github.com/aria2/aria2 https://github.com/qbittorrent/qbittorrent https://git.deluge-torrent.org/deluge You will need to make your own suggestions as to good, hopefully distributed, bittorrent indexing software, such enables both submission and search of torrent releases metadata (titles, release infos, filenames, filehashes) to find content without already knowing the infohash. This is the metainfo database itself, not stupid forums and other crap that such db's can get bolted into. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comparison_of_BitTorrent_clients And there are other filesharing protocols in addition to BT, many can be used entirely within some overlay networks.

PLEASE LET ME SLEEP OUTDOORS
by Karl 19 Dec '21

I do not know what to do. I am not able to kill myself with any reasonable likelihood. I have spent my whole life focused around living outdoors with an idea of making everything right in a caring way. I need to be able to sleep outdoors to be Karl Semich. I need to be able to spend many days outdoors without going indoors, to sleep outdoors, with my current psychology. PLEASE LET ME SLEEP OUTDOORS. PLEASE LET ME WORK OUTDOORS. Thank you for any aid.

Another outspoken critic of COVID-19 emergency orders, has died
by professor rat 19 Dec '21

19 Dec '21

You would have to be a stone not to laugh. Sen. Doug Ericksen, a LOL-GOP, Qanon conservative-cough-fascist voice in the Legislature, former leader of Donald Trump’s presidential campaign in Washington and an outspoken critic of COVID-19 emergency orders, has died, his family said Saturday. He was 52. Ericksen said last month that he had tested positive for the coronavirus while on a trip to El Salvador. This is somewhere Gramps should report from - maybe if we all chip in for a one-way-ticket.

Bounties on known list pests
by professor rat 19 Dec '21

19 Dec '21

I have three deadpools going on list pests, Gramps, Semich and Batshit-Crazy. Better to wax these noisy losers like a candle than curse the darknets. Bounty Law applies in cryptoanarchy - and always has - since 1996 TIMOTHY " An anonymous computerized market will even make possible abhorrent markets for assassinations and extortion " C. MAY 1992 TIM " I guess now that the Pentagon is setting up a murder pool it can't be illegal for us to do it " MAY. 2003

C-punks are not about " Crypto' or " Privacy ' alone
by professor rat 19 Dec '21

19 Dec '21

In one of his rare lucid intervals, Assmange said recently , " Cypherpunks are about privacy for the poor and transparency for the rich ". Just as modern cryptography is used for privacy AND authentication which may be public. Sear " The Blockchain as public ledger ". Those trying to assert cypherpunks are just about crypto have a Mongo problem since he asserted this list was designed to discuss the socio-economic ie POLITICAL effects of ubiquitous networked encryption. Those wanting to discuss this ' scaffolding ' in detail were cordially invited to hive off - then the CODERPUNKS list was started. If you are convinced of the cowardly traitors, Eric Hughes, assertions in a narrow sense then you have a serious problem with this list. Btw, its also CRYPTO-ANARCHY, not crypto-privacy or just crypto alone as some sort of apolitical abstraction. Needless to say crypto-currency is not crypto-anarchy either. I don't know how many people that come here read the archives. It seems - not many. Meh. Finally the ancap, rightwing libertarian distro of cypherpunk politics revolves around cyber-liberty NOT crypto-anarchy. As Rothbard says at Mises libertarians like this can never be anarchists.

The metaphor of “bridges” is being used in the blockchain/ subnet space
by professor rat 19 Dec '21

Mazur’s title is “Bridges between Geometry and Number Theory”. The metaphor of “bridges” to describe what unifies mathematics gets a workout in a recent Quanta article about Ana Cariani and the Langlands program entitled The Mathematician Who Delights in Building Bridges (and subtitled Ana Caraiani seeks to unify mathematics through her work on the ambitious Langlands program.) https://www.math.columbia.edu/~woit/wordpress/?p=12584#respond
