TechRadar: This powerful supercomputer can now run on light instead of electric current. https://www.techradar.com/news/life-threatening "In addition to being one of the most powerful computers in the world and currently ranked 105 on the Top500 list, France's Jean Zay supercomputer is now the first HPC to have a photonic coprocessor. Unlike traditional processors which use electric current, LightOn's photonic coprocessor transmits and processes information using light. The company's photonics coprocessor was added to the Jean Zay supercomputer under a pilot program with GENCI and IDRIS and represents not only a technological breakthrough but also a first for the industry." "So far, LightOn's technology has successfully been used by a community of researchers since 2018. " "Now though, its photonic coprocessor will be available to select users of the Jean Zay research community over the next few months who will use the device to conduct research on machine learning foundations, differential privacy, satellite imaging analysis and natural language processing (NLP) tasks."

Jim Dumbell and his idiotic type of Paultard moron coterie ( Gramps, Coderman, etc ) don't even oppose the one-man-Russian-Troll-Farm operating in plain sight here on this list. Otherwise this circle-of-eunuchs would have joined the deadpool on Batshit Stasi by now. Bounty law would have prevailed. Shows how weak and worthless the NAPPY-headed Austro-Libertarian crowd are. Dumbell puts on a clinic everytime he opens his big mouth these days. Feh.

Russia blocks website of group that tracks political arrests https://abcnews.go.com/International/wireStory/russia-blocks-website-group-… https://share.newsbreak.com/a0ak2mfe MOSCOW -- A Russian organization that tracks political arrests and provides legal aid to detainees said Saturday that government regulators blocked its website, the latest move in a months-long crackdown on independent media and human rights organizations. OVD-Info reported that Russia's internet and communications watchdog, Roskomnadzor, blocked the group's website. The organization said in a tweet that it wasn't formally notified about the decision and doesn't know the reason for the action beyond that it was ordered by a court outside Moscow on Monday.

DNA Steganograpy
by Stefan Claas 25 Dec '21

25 Dec '21

Hi all, while searching for the topic to send messages undetected (not the classic steganography) I have read about DNA steganography and that open source software is available for that. In case someone of you is familiar with this topic, I would like to know the following. How big could the max payload be and regarding organisms, could that do any harm (in the long-range) for, let's say, animals, instead of a plant, if it would be possible to inject messages multiple times? Regards Stefan

JIM Dumbell, sorry, Steve Bannon just announced creation of a new MAGA cryptocurrency called " Associated Press", sorry, ‘FJB.’ “This is eventually going to be used as a means of transactions, you’re going to have an alternate currency .. You’re going to very quickly have no reliance on their financial system.”
