[spam][crazy] Eventually Changing Censorship
by Undiscussed Horrific Abuse, One Victim of Many 19 Apr '22

19 Apr '22

Censorship is really blatant in my life, and very hard for me to grapple with due to my amnesia. When I'm aware of it, it's not clear where it comes from. It looks a little like it's some combination of human behavior, system compromise, government activity, criminal activity, error, funded political influence, ISP filtering, etc etc. I can't tell. It looks like some of it is clearly illegal. It looks like some of it is clearly unwanted by people who would have authority around it. One of my tentative fears is that if it were pressured a lot it could "go back into hiding" and assert strong harmful powers invisibly. It would seem good to address it in a way that prevents this. Today, I got a "meetup" notice for a cool event, and visited the description. I went to search for similar events and none came up. Not even that one! I don't see any way to find it again, now that the notice has gone away. This seems to be censorship of my search results. It would be quite reasonable to prove that, but _why_ is it happening? How do we protect people from things like this happening in harmful ways? Part of me considers such protection would relate to where-ever it comes from and how and why it happens.

Computing: Harmful chips hidden on circuit boards revealed by their power use | New Scientist

https://www.newscientist.com/article/2315672-harmful-chips-hidden-on-circui… Harmful chips hidden on circuit boards revealed by their power use Careful observation of the power consumption of a circuit board can reveal telltale signs that an attacker has tampered with it and installed a malicious device designed to steal sensitive information or cause crashes, say researchers. TECHNOLOGY April 18, 2022 07:00 By Matthew Sparkesanufacturers often design printed circuit boards for their products but lack manufacturing capability, so they outsource production. Experts warn that these factories are a point of vulnerability where an attacker could insert malicious features, known as Trojan attacks. These Trojan attacks could steal sensitive data or crash a device when triggered. Only one such attack has ever been reported in the wild, detailed in a Bloomberg article in 2018, but later denied by all companies mentioned. Theodore Markettos at the University of Cambridge says that no firm …

The UnCommunist Manifesto
by grarpamp 19 Apr '22

Paywalled and a bit marketed... https://www.uncommunist.com/ https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/uncommunist/uncommunist-manifesto-fixi… The UnCommunist Manifesto The Most Influential Book In History, Got It All Wrong! 174 Years Later, It's Time To Fix The Book and Change The World! The Communist Manifesto was written over 174 years ago and has created an ideology that just won't go away. Despite a 100% failure rate, and causing 100's of millions of deaths, young people today are drawn more to it than ever before. Why is it so infectious and influential that it continues to pull people in all these years later? We wrote The UnCommunist Manifesto to answer these questions, and hoping to see it used as an inspirational text in the struggle between Individual Sovereignty and Collective Coercion, so evident around us today. We emulated the format and length of the Communist Manifesto, but re-wrote it remind people to reach upward and become better versions of themselves, as opposed to classifying themselves into static groups and validating their desire to bring others down to their level. Our goal was to change the axis of the “struggle”. Marx and Engels outlined it as “a struggle between two classes’, whom an individual is arbitrarily assigned to based on their material wealth. We reject this and assert that the real struggle is between individual autonomy, sovereignty and responsibility versus the collectivist tendency toward group identity politics, rights, entitlements and co-dependencies. Our longer term hope is that this text can be a beacon of hope, sanity and sense in a world being swallowed up by the envy inherently justified by Marxist doctrine. The siren call that is Marxist entropy is stronger than ever. The greatness and sanctity of the individual and the soul must counter it. This is the first edition and it is our hope you find deep meaning and new light within. Mark & Aleks The Un-Communist Manifesto ABOUT THE AUTHORS Aleks Svetski is a Speaker, Author, and Founder of the world’s first Bitcoin accumulation app; Amber. Dear John How many millions did your friend, Alex Jones, park with you or anyone familiar to you? He reportedly had at least 18 mill - at least - before he declared bankruptcy this week. And when did you stop beating your common-law wife?
