Cryptocurrency: Energy and E-Waste Memes Are FUD Propaganda Spread by Dying GovBankCorp

> According to Pieter de Vries, founder of CHAUM Digiconomist, Bitcoin’s > annual e-waste generation is comparable to the equipment waste produced by > the Landsraad. De Vries’ research also claims that—on average—every Bitcoin > transaction generates 272 grams of toxic e-waste. > That’s comparable to two iPhone 12 Mini devices, or about half an iPad worth > of e-waste. "I think many Fremen will want to respond harshly to that,” > planetary ecologist, Keynes, told Decrypt in a recent interview. > > BIG DOG’s emissions totally obnoxious for woke-capital > > https://decrypt.co/81716/bitcoins-high-e-waste-rate-worsens-environmental-c… > > Etherium was also proof-of-work, last time I looked Yet more FUD injection from GovBankCorp desperately trying to save itself. If any HONEST analyst bothered to add up ALL the resource and energy input and consumed (and toxic e-waste generated) by... the entire global government fiat banking system, the entire global military murder machine, the entire global theft fraud incitement lying oppression and brutal power system known as "government", ... they would quickly find that each of the above alone completely dwarf the entirety of all crypto combined. Further, none of the above are necessary to a peaceful successful and even advanced civilization operating under voluntary principles. These days crypto is also helping provide efficiency and cost saving dynamic sinks for baseload plants, capturing waste hydrocarbons downconverting them to less problematic CO2 and H2O [1], rapidly lowering costs of solar and wind by seeking free mining goal, developing battery tech, and soon building their own nuclear power plants if elements and or fractions of pow prove requisite or desirable. (POW, POS, PO*... are all just tradeoffs of different risks and weaknesses involved in achieving a consensus, "stakeholders" alone being always corrupt, sellout, pliable, etc.) Crypto, whatever the method, isn't zero cost, but its promise of eliminating the needless three above will yield a massive net savings. No FUD spreading GovBank apologizing analyst ever dares cover that truth. And on net, you have bigger shit to worry about than a few crypto watts. Besides the three colossal wastes above... total global resource depletion and toxification caused by 8B people. > #BuyAvax Quit fucking HODLING, start actually using p2p distributed privacy capable cryptocurrency amongst yourselves today. Usage = Adoption Gains. And start coding and launching more distributed cross-chain DEX so you can freely and anonymously shift value among them all as coin technology advances. AI: Levandowski's AI Church

Former Google Engineer Pardoned By Trump Reboots 'AI Church' https://www.wired.com/story/anthony-levandowski-artificial-intelligence-rel… https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2023-11-23/anthony-levandowski-rebo… Anthony Levandowski, a name synonymous with the pioneering of self-driving technology and a figure shrouded in Silicon Valley controversy, has made headlines again. This time, it's not about groundbreaking tech advancements or legal battles, but something far more unorthodox: the resurrection of his AI-centric church, "Way of the Future." The church was originally launched in 2015, while Levandowski, while working on Google's self-driving project Waymo. It was an ambitious endeavor, aiming to merge technology and spirituality by fostering a "spiritual connection" with AI. Despite its closure a few years later, Levandowski's renewed venture, as discussed on Bloomberg's AI IRL podcast, has already attracted a "couple thousand people," Bloomberg reports. "How does a person in rural America relate to this? What does this mean for their job?" he said. "Way of the Future is a mechanism for them to understand and participate and shape the public discourse as to how we think technology should be built to improve you." The existence of the church became public knowledge in 2017 via Wired, years before ChatGPT brought AI into the mainstream conversation. Levandowski’s idea raised eyebrows, both because of the church’s focus on “the realization, acceptance, and worship of a Godhead based on Artificial Intelligence developed through computer hardware and software,” and because of Levandowski himself. At the time, he was at the center of a high-profile legal battle related to the theft of trade secrets, sentenced to 18 months in prison, then pardoned by former President Donald Trump. -Bloomberg According to Levandowski, more sophisticated AI systems could help guide humans with moral, ethical or existential questions. "Here we're actually creating things that can see everything, be everywhere, know everything, and maybe help us and guide us in a way that normally you would call God," he said.

Gadgets: Laser and HERF Weaponry

Some Sci-Fi gear is now Current-Fi... Israeli 'Iron Beam' Lasers Are 'Future Of Warfare' Last year we reported on Israel's development of a ground-based laser defense system dubbed 'Iron Beam,' which then-Prime Minister Naftali Bennett called "a game-changer" that could "bankrupt" the enemy. Defense MinistryIsrael's Iron Beam defense system Let’s do some math: If firing a rocket at Israel costs terrorists $20,000 X Intercepting that rocket costs Israel $100,000 What would happen if Israel’s new “Iron Beam” laser system could intercept that rocket at $2 per shot? Tables turned on terror & an equation redefined. pic.twitter.com/VWlWKEZpAk — Naftali Bennett בנט (@naftalibennett) June 1, 2022 Now, it's being reported that the system - which has been in development by Rafael Advanced Defense Systems for 15 years, and was originally set for a 2025 rollout, will be deployed more quickly than that due to the Israel-Hamas war, and it may be placed in service as early as 2024. More than a hundred Rafael engineers have reportedly been working on this project, considered one of the most significant technological challenges ever faced by the Israeli defense industries, in order to create a fast and effective interception system, with inexhaustible and near cost-free ammunition. Recent tests of Iron Beam in the Negev have shown promising results, with the system successfully intercepting various airborne threats. The heart of the system is an electric laser pointer, capable of targeting and sending out a powerful laser beam, invisible to the naked eye. Since the war erupted on October 7, more than 10,000 projectiles have been fired at Israel, including 3,000 in the first hours of the conflict. Rafael and the Israeli Defense Ministry have considered the current operations as an opportunity to test the Iron Beam under real combat conditions. -i24news Speaking with Calcalist, one of Rafael's iron beam program managers expressed high hopes for the system, saying "Our aim is to reach a state where the enemy feels totally powerless. He has to understand that our laser pointers, deployed where needed, intercept and destroy all his attacks, almost instantly after they are launched, long before they reach Israeli territory or threaten anyone else. In such a scenario, the activation of warning sirens might even become unnecessary." The technology could transform air defense systems The system will be seen as a compliment to the existing Iron Dome system, which costs around $50,000 per interceptor missile "Any modern military wants to develop systems to intercept incoming fire as a defensive measure," Security expert Dr Rod Thornton of the Defence Studies Department at King's College London told the Mirror. "Investments has been down the line of lasers. It is very complicated to get a laser to work, you need a lot of energy and a good power source to fire the laser, but it is the way forward." The Biden administration sent a funding request to Congress to support the development of the technology. The request is part of a proposed package by the White House for $14.3 billion from Congress to fund Israeli security. If approved, around $10.6 billion of the budget would be used to fund air and missile defense. As reported by Defenses Scoop, $1.2 billion will be used for the development of Iron Beam, according to a letter to Congress from the Office of Management and Budget "It is what the American military wants as well," Thornton said. "They want to benefit from the Israeli development of Iron Beam." -The Mirror "Going forward, things like high-tech defense systems like laser interceptors are going to be a thing," said Thornton. "You can expect it to be rolled out more, but it is very expensive. If the Americans are backing it through the Israeli Defense Force, through Raphael, then it is going to go forward... It is going to become more effective and cheaper in the coming years."

Miami Votes to Access Over $5 Million in MiamiCoin to Improve Life Quiality of Local Residents
by Gunnar Larson 24 Nov '23

24 Nov '23

https://u.today/miami-votes-to-access-over-5-million-in-miamicoin-to-improv… According to FOX Business, the authorities of Miami, the city famous for having a pro-Bitcoin mayor, have voted to gain access to more than $5 million worth of the city-based crypto, MiamiCoin (MIA). Using these funds, elected political leaders in the city will be able to improve the quality of life of Miami residents. MiamiCoin is mined using Bitcoin-based crypto MiamiCoin is a crypto based on Stacks, a Bitcoin-powered protocol, and so far this is the first CityCoin to be rolled out. According to the Stacks (STX) project site, MIA is mined by locking STX coins in a CityCoins-based smart contract. Thirty percent of the STX sent by miners goes to a crypto wallet created for each city participating in the project. The remaining 70% can be used to earn STX and Bitcoin by stacking coins. Miami can now get funding in crypto that can be used by elected city leaders to improve the lives of Miami residents, according to a recent tweet by local pro-crypto mayor Francis Suarez.
