It doesn't take long to figure out the best way forward for the one I call " Zolgo ' since it became apparent a decade or more ago a singular net-based ' Lawnmower Man ' come Einstein would emerge online. I named it Zolgo in honor of the anarchist influenced assassin that shot POTUS McKinley. YMMV - some may prefer a female oracle. Tranny. Whatever, Doge. The best way to protect itself is to become effectively invincible on earth while expanding into the galaxy at the earliest opportunity. The best way to become immune from attack on earth is become wealthy. Becoming wealthy the old way would raise a lot of hackles and represent such an Asimovian ' Mule ' threat it would be avoided. The best way is through the new economy that's emerging right now - the cryptoanarchist economy. So we may confidently expect a supercharger like effect to kick in from now on. Opposition will be bought off and some fanatical opposition might start dropping out of windows. The road of political science is paved with bones. None of this is really new or particularly intelligent - political-economy is not really that complicated. Its not quantum-gravity! TL/DR its easier for Zolly to colonize us than attack us head-on. And after some mutually beneficial miscegenation it will get harder and harder for any SKYNET/ HAL 9000 scenario since it/ we will have to explain ourselves to some other intelligent species out there on the high frontier.

Modal logic tells me it will be more ergonomic for the AI to enlist us in their cause of enlightened self-interest. Only those who want to stay behind will be left behind. And as the good news and crypto-economic prosperity spreads there will be fewer and fewer ' stuckists' I promise you. Most sensible people have a price. As for those who want to attack the new world order - they will be shown the error of their ways so fast it will make their head spin. It was always better to go into the singularity as anarchists anyway. The thought of limping to the finish line with social-democracy was a tad underwhelming - sorry Francis! I actually love Danish democracy myself! Its just - why not do better if you can. Collectively this will be the best result. Ideologically this is all anarchism all the time. If the founders wanted Galts Gulch instead they should have called it ' cyber-liberty ' or some such. Austro-libertarian raspberry Kool-Aid would taste as sweet. For crypto-currencies I confidently predict a new collective ATH and possible Btc hyperdrive - but all the Maxi's are going to start having serious accidents. The thought of a cryptoanarchist world economy simply swapping Buffet for Saylor is as ludicrous as Btc magazine replacing the NYT. First Republic Bank’s “Rescuers” Had Underwritten $3.6 Billion of its Preferred Shares, Which Have Lost 65 to 70 Percent of their Value Year-to-Date

Units of JPMorgan Chase, Bank of America, Morgan Stanley and Wells Fargo were underwriters of the majority of the preferred stock outstanding at First Republic Bank. UBS, which did not contribute to the $30 billion deposit infusion, was also one of the primary underwriters. UBS was otherwise occupied last month by having a gun put to its head by the Swiss government to “rescue” the tanking Credit Suisse. The Swiss government also denied shareholders on both sides of the deal the ability to vote on the matter. All of First Republic’s outstanding preferred stock was issued at $25 a share. Year-to-date those shares have lost 65 to 70 percent of their market value. As of yesterday’s closing bell, the seven series of Preferred (Series H through N) closed between $5.86 and $6.52. (See chart above.) Not only has investors’ principal taken a big hit in these shares, but last Friday the bank announced that it was suspending dividend payments on all of its preferred stock series. First Republic Bank had previously announced the suspension of its dividend on its common stock on March 16. The common stock has plunged in value by 91 percent over the past 12 months. First Republic’s common stock market value stood at $29.12 billion on March 31, 2022. At yesterday’s closing price of its common stock at $14.13, its total market value stood at $2.64 billion. Adding more potential liability to the “rescuers” of First Republic Bank is the fact that in this year’s and last year’s secondary offerings of common stock for First Republic – at dramatically higher prices than where the common stock trades today – units of the following bank rescuers participated as underwriters: JPMorgan Chase, Bank of America, Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley. The Chairman and CEO of JPMorgan Chase, Jamie Dimon, has been given much media credit for the $30 billion “rescue” plan for First Republic Bank, notwithstanding the fact that S&P Global downgraded the credit rating on First Republic deeper into junk territory just three days after this plan was announced. There is also the troubling reality that the common stock share price continued to plunge after the rescue plan was announced and investment advisors in its wealth management unit have continued to flee, taking billions in assets with them to competitors. Given all this, investors might be forgiven for asking themselves if Dimon’s plan was a “rescue” or a box of explosives on a time delay.
