He decided on a battery of HackRF boards – entire eight of them, in fact. Two 1×4 and one 1×2 RF splitters and an LNA on their combined RF input made for a good start to the project, and from there, it only got more complex. HackRF boards can be synchronized with a separate clock source, but you can’t just pull a single clock line to all of them in a star configuration. Thus, he’s built a clock distribution and amplifier board, with 4 ns propagation delay at 1 PPS, and only 10 ns delay at 10 MHz. Then, he integrated that board with the HackRF setup, adding a case, wiring up a purpose-built cable and dealing with the reflections that occurred. HackRF boards are USB 2.0 and able to generate a stream of data up to 320 MB/s, and there’d be no viable way to aggregate eight 2.0 links into one. To solve that, he’s used eight separate PCI-E to USB 3.0 cards, each of them with one HackRF plugged in, all connected to an AMD Ryzen 9-powered PC through PCI-E risers we typically see used for mining purposes. To tie it all together, he created a gnuradio flowgraph and patched the osmocom source block to enable the external clock synchronization mechanisms he decided to use.

This seems uncontroversial - open borders in the absence of a command economy and full-spectrum welfare ie national-healthcare-style state is decidedly pro-market, pro-freedom, and pro-peace. Certainly open-borders are as intrinsic to crypto-anarchism as diversity-of-tactics. That is certainly uncontroversial. It may be that some self-described cypherpunk might decide to advocate for border controls for some reason. The onus is then on them to prove their case. it takes me hours to reconnect to my body and stand up in the morning after sleeping. some years ago I searched for a device that would push me out of bed. somebody had made an "ejector bed" but they weren't selling it. I bought a cheap high-torque motor more recently. I don't know if it's strong enough to raise plywood with a person on it, but it seems to make sense to try. the motor also has a bracket to help with mounting, but more parts may be needed.

I've been struggling a little to convey that it is all sorts of things. Many people work for Boss 24/7 both for-pay and without-pay. Some people, like the experimentees, have been automatically encouraged to work so strongly that they are mostly doing random things to meet details of the automated productivity and political protocols, rather than anything actually productive. Other people do basically nothing for Boss, and have relations with the control patterns so as to do and cause arbitrary things they prefer themselves. Some people aren't mind controlled any more than most people, and live roughly normal lives. But in the story, people go to the rebel cafe of spies, rescue workers, etc, for fun, and make fun of Boss or plan to cause great good in the world. It's probably an analogy for internet lists like this one used to be. And maybe write it in a style > that isn't simply experimentation with cliches.
