The reason for a mediation robot is that we have automated influencing breaking up our communities, and an instinct to step in and resolve conflict when this happens. That gets the mediators targeted. In very oppressed situations, it also gives people a false hope, that can let their guard down. Alternatively, people become paranoid and lose trust in each other needlessly. A robot that can both support mediation and itself mediate could protect people under attack for simply trying to prevent their community from falling apart. Of course it would be airgapped and poweroffable etc to deter compromise, but for dissociated software developers like me, it would just be nice to build workings for. The approach is much more in line with business than novel algorithms. It would simply be a generative language model chat bot tuned around building communication and human capacity.

Cryptoanarchy expects everyone will do their duty. Especially all Big-Igloo, Sovereign-Citizen, Proud-Boy, Oath-Keeper, Patriotic Militia types - SIR, YES SIR! I wanted this to go smoothly as cooperative adults. Alas Brandon didn't see things this way so he won't be joining us for the rest of his life. Sadly anarchism has evolved since it assassinated many of the crowned heads of Europe. Many anarchists prefer others do the wet-work required to overthrow the state these days. And who could blame them with regular arrivals of rightwingnut volunteers. They are called random or stochastic, but really, you could set your watch by them. This means all the antiwar noise of the last quarter century, that included a second Vietnam, has been overwhelmingly noise and miniscule signal. This includes some loudmouthed pacifist bloviations from Ross Ulbricht made while he was busily hiring hitmen online. " When alls said and done a lot more is always said than done " Antiwar as a political stance is a scam - its a fraud - its so stupid its attracted a lot of conservatives. Antiwar is also now an empty signifier like ' Anti-capitalist ". Its meaning gets less every year. Total fucking garbage - but Gramps knew that.
