Somebody asked me a question, but because I am far from being an expert, I couldn't answer. Suppose a person wanted to implement a TOR node, simply by buying some box, and plugging it into his modem, and power. And NOT needing to become an expert on TOR, or even on computers in general. And NOT having to follow pages and pages of instructions. I did a few minutes of searching, and even the 'simple' explanations seemed 'clear as mud'. Don't bother with long explanations challenging the usefulness, or trustworthiness of TOR. Yes, we've discussed them to death. That's a different subject. Jim Bell

Correction, James 'Mad Poodle' Mattis actually "quit in protest over US’ Syria withdrawal" (see rt.com article gbelow). IOW, the Mad Poodle is a quitter where Peace and 'less imperialism' is sought. Not only that, Mattis is a quitter. That man, is a quitter. Did I mention he's a quitter? Because he's also the new hero of the Democratic Demon-rat-tick party for calling Trump a Nazi (now -that- was a truly original and knockout slur, Mr Mattis). Hi, The targeting, disruption, etc are painful and "obvious". I was wondering if, maybe from back when they didn't have so much power on the internet, anybody figured out what kinds of people are causing it. How they work, what they value, maybe even who they are, etc. Obviously control is important but those seem more like strategies to sustain something else. Did a map of these influences ever make it somewhere permanent? I'm realizing that although we could make a new one, the process could be pretty dangerous. It just really helps comprehending anything at all to know why these things are happening, and be able to talk about it specifically even if that means repercussions when you do. Karl
