In one of his slides, Inoue states that “grading is a great way to protect the white property of literacy in schools and maintain the white supremacist status quo without ever being white supremacist or mentioning race.” ... WASHINGTON (Reuters) - People using CIA and FBI computers have edited entries in the online encyclopedia Wikipedia on topics including the Iraq war and the Guantanamo prison, according to a new tracing program. The program, WikiScanner, was developed by Virgil Griffith of the Santa Fe Institute in New Mexico and posted this month on a Web site that was quickly overwhelmed with searches. The program allows users to track the source of computers used to make changes to the popular Internet encyclopedia where anyone can submit and edit entries. WikiScanner revealed that CIA computers were used to edit an entry on the U.S.-led invasion of Iraq in 2003. A graphic on casualties was edited to add that many figures were estimated and were not broken down by class. Another entry on former CIA chief William Colby was edited by CIA computers to expand his career history and discuss the merits of a Vietnam War rural pacification program that he headed. Aerial and satellite images of the U.S. prison for terrorism suspects at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, were removed using a computer traced to the FBI, WikiScanner showed. CIA spokesman George Little said he could not confirm whether CIA computers were used in the changes, adding that “the agency always expects its computer systems to be used responsibly.” The FBI did not have an immediate response. Computers at numerous other organizations and companies were found to have been involved in editing articles related to them. Griffith said he developed WikiScanner “to create minor public relations disasters for companies and organizations I dislike (and) to see what ‘interesting organizations’ (which I am neutral towards) are up to.” It was not known whether changes were made by an official representative of an agency or company, Griffith said, but it was certain the change was made by someone with access to the organization’s network. It violates Wikipedia’s neutrality guidelines for a person with close ties to an issue to contribute to an entry about it, said spokeswoman Sandy Ordonez of the Wikimedia Foundation, Wikipedia’s parent organization. However, she said, “Wikipedia is self-correcting,” meaning misleading entries can be quickly revised by another editor. She said Wikimedia welcomed the WikiScanner. "Incentivize, in every case possible." The primary vector of node 'locality' (in a technical sense) is friend node, friend of friend node, etc, with each "friend" node carrying a meat space user asserted 'trust' level. The next vector of node locality, is network locality - nodes connected to my ISP ought be known, and for many types of content, preferred for downloading from. "My ISP" may be "none" when I am in pure ad hoc wireless mesh mode. There may well be some trust vs locality vs cautiousness polynomial calculations to determine "reasonable randomized routes for each content distribution use case at issue", given current IQNets connectivity. At least, by preferring ISP network locality where it is reasonable and sensible to do so (modulo inter jurisdictional network hopping chaff fill, node configuration, 'security' needs for the app making the route(s) etc), IQNets is able to "prefer local ISP" and thereby maximize ISP network locality; this is necessary to be practical (as a mode of operation, per config) in order to maximize the "improving network efficiency as more users join" effects, and to make ISPs as happy as we are able - the more efficiently we use of underlying physical networks, backhauls, dark fibre links etc, the less barriers to use and support from those we want support from, and the more resources are ultimately available to end users. Another "polynomial" or config will perhaps necessarily be "minimum node count presently within a given network locality, for 'local/ISP preferred' routing to be enabled - if there are only 2 other IQNets nodes presently within my ISP's network, route node mixing is simply insufficient for various anonymizing needs. [TODO: workshop terms "security" (may be too overloaded), and anonymity] Similar "polynomial calculation principle" may apply for legal jurisdiction hopping (at the network layer)...

IQNets is born of our fundamental human right to communicate freely, and anonymously, amongst consenting humans, free from stalking by governments and by corporations. Just as we have the human right to go for a stroll in a park and have a private chat between ourselves without stalkers and snoops listening in, so too do we have the human right to communicate privately and anonymously using any technical means at our disposal such as a telephone, a computer, a stroll through a park. This human right to communicate freely and anonymously, is a fundamental human right. It is a fundamental human right, since without this right to communicate amongst ourselves privately and anonymously, we are bound to the dictates and abuses of those presently in power who do on occasion abuse their power and whom we are not otherwise able to hold accountable for their abuse. We have the right to (attempt to) hold those in power accountable for their abuses of other humans, and for their abuses of power. The capacity to communicate freely and anonymously, is fundamental to the right of those without power, to hold accountable those presently in power. Certain fundamental human rights such as the right to communciate amongst ourselves freely and anonymously, may be abused by one or another human; this is part of the price we pay for living with freedom (in this case, the freedom to communicate privately and anonymously). This is just the same as our right to own and buy and sell knives so that we may efficiently chop vegetables to make a meal - whilst some humans abuse this right to own knives to nefarious ends. Such is in the nature of humans, but if we give up the right to own, to buy and to sell knives, then we give up a basic right to possess the tools required to prepare and consume food. Without the right to possess those tools required to prepare and consume food, or in like manner the right to communicate freely and without the government or others stalking our conversations, we are reduced to be nothing but slaves, beholden to the will of those in power. And so, a free people readily and with gratitude, pays the price that must be paid, to live in freedom. A people who do not pay the price freedom demands, which includes the consequences of living in freedom, are slaves, and are not free. There are other fundamental human rights. On this foundation principle - our fundamental human right to communicate freely and anonymously without being stalked and monitored - is IQNets sanctioned into existence. IQNets - making the impossible possible.
