GGF17 Press release draft (Re: [scrm-wg] SCRM Meeting Monday 4/10)

I am very sorry that I have to AGAIN express my disagreement with
the focus on BOGUS (basically EMPTY) press releases that claim
MAJOR ACHIEVEMENT while it has taken us 2 years to get from
some emails, to a word document, to a web page, to a spreadsheet
and now converted to a WIKI page. WHAT in hell is the ACHIEVEMENT?

Also, the press release seems to claim as if real EXPERTS from all
the listed organizations have participated. In my view it has just been
some leadership that is on and off at random on weekly conf calls.
Most of the time on the conf calls , the discussion is about the
next meeting, or how to convert from (for example) spreadsheet to
wiki (I wonder what the next hip thing is we're going to do)... i.e
very little real content. And the IETF (and I suspect most other
organizations) have NOT had their EXPERTs participate. I suspect
it is/was more that some of the leadership "shielded" their EXPERTS
from this type of discussion and made sure that their EXPERTS
could work on real issues and new protocols or information models.

Let us be realistic guys... and not make this a publicity circus.

Bert (no longer an AD in the IETF, so maybe I am speaking too
freely and too rude now).
