Yes, it is the case now. Some ARC resources have a slightly different DIT that the rest of resources in the EGI infrastructure. You can discover information in both cases using slightly different queries.

Yes, they could. We have tried to do it but failed so far: we needed two queries to be able to get ARC resource information whereas normally with one query we could get information for non ARC resources. We thought that the two queries were fine for both ARC and non ARC but later on discovered that we couldn´t get everything for non ARC so we had rolled back to the first query. I think we need to investigate a bit more, but I don´t think it´s technically impossible. The only problem is that we have to be very careful for not breaking what we currently have in production.
