Try making FOIA requests of the US DoD
(http://www.dod.mil/pubs/foi/foiareq.html). I have had some success
in the past in so doing. Someone over the years may have subscribed
to this mailing list for some purpose and their notes may have been
archived. The US Secret Service also has a FOIA request process
(http://www.secretservice.gov/foia.shtml) that you may want to make
use of.
