How many folks were at the Science Gateways (portals by another name)  
workshop?  I thought a lot more than 15 (heck more than 15 people  
were presenting at it).

Part of the problem I see with some groups at GGF (GCE being one of  
them) is that they have no real targets or goals that they are  
pursuing together.  What are they trying to *accomplish* by meeting?   
Groups that just discuss things tend to dwindle pretty quickly (and  
GCE isn't alone in that).
