OGF colleagues,

In the last message, I failed to note that the "Cloud Plugfest" event mentioned below conflicts in time and location with the EGI Technical Forum, also Sep. 17-19 in Prague, which is co-located with Globus Europe. We certainly hope that all interested people will attend whichever of these events is of interest to them, but wanted also to give some visibility to the other events.

To find out more about the EGI Technical Forum, please visit

 http://tf2012.egi.eu

To find out more about Globus Europe, please visit

 http://www.globuseurope.org/

Please don't forget also to register for OGF 36 in Chicago Oct. 8-10, 2012 at

 http://ogf.org/OGF36

The Cloud Plugfest event is described in more detail at

 http://cloudplugfest.org

and the OWF 12 " Open standards for Cloud " Call For Participation is available at

 http://www.openworldforum.org/News/OPEN-STANDARDS-FOR-OPEN-CLOUD-CALL-FOR-PARTICIPATION

All of these are worthwhile events, and we would like to see OGF active in all of them! You can help by promoting a healthy and high level of interaction and participation in all of these events, and communication of the results with the rest of the OGF community.

We greatly value your participation and contributions to the community, wherever and in whatever form they take place.

Alan

Note that remote participation is possible for the Cloud Plugfest events.

If you have a use case that you wold like to see put forward in order to attract code developers or projects to try to demonstrate their ability to fill, please send a message to standards at ogf.org or to planners at cloudplugfest.org

If you are interested in this, please send me mail at standards at ogf.org
