Global Grid Forum's next event, GGF14, will be held at the Westin Michigan 
Avenue hotel in downtown Chicago from 27-30 June, 2005.  Please note the 
Monday (27 June) start.   Registration (open now) and housing details can 
be accessed via http://www.ggf.org/ggf_events_next.htm.

In addition to Working Group, Research Group and Birds of a Feather 
sessions to be held from Tuesday through Thursday afternoon, the GGF14 
schedule will contain a diverse set of workshops, presentations and panels 
on the Community Program Track from Monday to Wednesday.  The goal of this 
community track is to build new and strengthen existing communities of 
interest in GGF.

GGF14 Preliminary Program highlights include---

* Workshop on Grid Applications: from Early Adopters to Mainstream Users
Jointly organized by:
GGF Application Developers and Users Research Group (APPS-RG)
GGF Production Grid Management Research Group (PGM-RG)

* Healthcare Security and Privacy: Is GGF Doing enough to meet the needs of 
the Healthcare industry?
Workshop organized by the Life Sciences Grid Research Group (LSG-RG).

* Why, How and When to Invest in Working with GGF - Improving Interaction 
Between Grid Standards and Projects (Community Workshop organized by the 
NextGRID Project)

* Globus Toolkit Version 4: Status and Experiences (Community Workshop 
organized by the Globus Alliance)

* Practical Grids demo/overview - WSDM (Community track demonstration and 
overview)

* Science Gateways: Common Community Interfaces to Grid Resources 
(Community Workshop organized by the TeraGrid Project)

* A "Grid Primer for Managers" offered by Gridwise Technologies (Tutorial)

GGF14 Plenary sessions include ---

* Opening Plenary (Tuesday, 28 June, 9:00am)
* GGF Town Hall Lunch (Wednesday, 29 June, 12:30pm)
* GGF14 Closing Plenary (Thursday, 30 June, 1:30pm).
