Hi Andrea,

Thanks for organizing this, I hope I can make the meeting, I still need 
to get the green light.

We had a workshop here at the beginning of the week and I had a brief 
talk to people who deploy iRODS about their accounting. It may be basic 
but I was told they can generate accounting information quickly from the 
iRODS catalogue. So some home grown solutions exist.

I intend to chase this up and also try to get the view of the iRODS 
developers, basically to see if they have storage accounting in mind.
