Excellent, Vincent. Thanks very much. Unfortunately, I am on a flight in about 30 mins to Washington,DC and will likely miss the call.

Very Comfortable with what is propoosed but would like a provocative title--e.g. Something like " Beyond the Data Grids: Storage Issues, Unresolved " or something else but want to shake em up.
Will also be first time participating in the sn-cg call, so don't know how to access.

One final thing, list of panelists and title, and we will be good. Thanks. Will check email when I arrive.

Best Regards,

JS

John,

Here’s a possible abstract:

“The penetration of Grid solutions in the Enterprise is generating a lot of questions with regards to their integration with existing IT infrastructures and their ability to leverage IT assets. Besides the known benefits for scaling performance and resource utilizations, Grids will be asked to support the overall requirements to better align IT with changing business environments. The panel participants will review the challenges of Grid in the Enterprise and propose work directions to help addressing them.”

This is fairly generic so that we can plug-in the elements we discussed before.

Thoughts/Comments?

FYI – We can discuss this on today’s sn-cg call.

Vincent.

Greetings:

I hope that time finds you well. The session has just been approved for a panel at OGF-19 (5 mins ago) on program committee. Just need to submit an abstract. Will try and pull something together. Any and all input greatly encouraged and requested. Thanks.
