(It has not been reviewed recently, but based on a quick
look only the authorization piece has been
                  significantly changed/enhanced.)

                WS-Security and WS-SecureConversation for message-level
                security (individually signed SOAP messages)

security (plain SOAP messages over a TLS socket)
                - Dierks, T. and C. Allen, The TLS Protocol Version 1.0,
                  http://www.ietf.org/rfc/rfc2246.txt

2-2) Review AuthN roadmap (see notes from OGF-19 on GridForge)

2-3) Discussion on TLS tokens in grid services (standards basis,
compatibility with requirements for AuthZ callouts, LoA
              considerations, etc.)

Beyond this, Alan would like to ask for input from Dave and the
Security Area directors. Andrew's and Alan's thoughts are
collected in the meeting minutes from the last OGSA-WG Security
session attached. Note David G. has sent a separate message as
to the steps that he believes are needed to complete the
OGSA-AuthN WG commissioning. I'd like to review these and see
if we all agree, and also delineate this process with respect to
and in the context of OGSA Security design team activities in
         general.
