[ogsa-naming-wg] Response to Public Comments

Folks,

We have received two Public Comments wrt this specification.

WRT the first PC, I agree to the editorial change and have executed  
it in version 7, https://forge.gridforum.org/sf/go/doc14420?nav=1

The only change is on page 16 in appendix B.

It now reads:

"This section identifies extensibility points for the Profile's  
component specifications. Except for the use of WS-Addressing  
Metadata Extensibility as profiled in WS-Naming (this profile), these  
mechanisms are out of the scope of the Profile; their use may affect  
interoperability, and may require private agreement between the  
parties to a Web service."

Whereas before the exception for this profile's use of the metadata  
extension was omitted, thus creating an internal contradiction.



WRT the second, I believe we discussed this several times in the WG  
and have replied to the comment accordingly. I suggest no changes in  
response to this PC.


If the co-chairs agree, I propose we start a WG last call on this  
document ASAP.
