Stephen,
I reads nicely. I added a section to introduce the notion of provenance 
store, which
can be implemented by 1 or more provenance services.
I also suggested a scenario for the multiple store configuration. Is 
this suitable?
It may have to be reformatted according to the style of the rest of the 
document.
Do you have enough material to complete the example of interfaces?

Currently, there is no discussion of security? Do you want me to write a

paragraph of the security issues we're facing in the second scenario?
