Re JSON vs XML - Please note that we have not discussed the OVF point
that Sam has raised.  Although, I think the .NET point is addressed by
(a) providing an adaptor (though Tim thinks YAGNI), (b) assuming that
.NET will support JSON as first class in mainstream tools soon enough.
