[Nmc-wg] perfSONAR framework in PHP

Hi Murilo;

Thank you for your email.

I do want to note that the NMC group is concerned only with the protocol
aspects of a measurement framework - we have to remain implementation
independent as much as possible. The work that is being done here is
not *only* for 'perfSONAR' services. NMC would be happy to have your
(and RNPs) help in working on protocol documentation, as long as it is
understood that the final product of this work will be general enough to
be used by any potential framework or service, and does not reflect the
needs of a specific implementation.

It is very good news to hear that you are progressing on your
development of a perfSONAR compliant framework, but this group does not
make decisions regarding what does or does not get to be downloaded on
the perfSONAR web site. You are probably better directing those
requests to the perfSONAR development or users mailing lists instead -
someone managing those lists will be able to address the issue of
releasing a product that is 'perfSONAR' related, instead of NMC related.

Hope this helps;

-jason
