Minutes from the INFOD conference call on Thursday, July 05 2007 @ 8 am PDT:

Participants:  Arjun, Dieter, Raghul and Steve

Apologies: Chris, Ronny and Vijay

Discussions:

    * *Report about UTK activities*
          o Reference implementation is almost complete
          o Raghul will create a document by Monday describing what has
            been implemented, the problem that he encountered, and what
            is still missing
    * *Next specification*
          o Basic principles seem to be settled, disseminators as new
            entries, association of publishers, subscriber and consumers
            to /home /disseminators, visibility rules for interaction
            between entries belonging to different disseminators
          o Arjun likes to add services which are in line with the
            direction of the event community; e.g., CEP/Streams
            processing - everyone agrees
          o We should introduce the notion of producers; maybe data
            source can be perceived as producers
          o It may be good to see publishers as /agents /of producers
            and subscribers as agents of consumers
          o A first draft of the next specification should be done by
            end of July
    * *Miscellaneous issues*
          o Addenda will be kept active in Wiki and integrated into the
            base specifications in sync with OGF meetings
          o Steve will review Use Case document and especially study the
            specifications of references through constraints - do we
            need more explanation of constraints in the specifications?
          o Arjun will review carefully the sensor section of the Use
            Case document
          o Elevator speech will be text - not a presentation
    * *Action items*: For the latest status please refer to the
      following documents in the /Current Drafts/ folder:
          o INFOD Current Actions
          o INFOD Closed Actions

The next conference call is scheduled for Thursday, July 12 2007 @ 8 am 
PDT.
