[infod-wg] Minutes - INFOD conference call, Thursday March 01 2006

My preferences for places to visit (I mean, where to have an important F2F meeting!) would be Montreal first, then San Francisco, then New York - not because I don't like New York, but because I have been there a few times already over the last 5 years or so (plus Chicago & Boston for GGFs).

But looking at some random flights that came up on Expedia, travel to Newark in particular is definitely easiest from Edinburgh. So overall my order would be:

Montreal

New York

San Francisco

As for dates, I can mange pretty much any time in May although I would prefer to avoid the first week of May (the 3rd and 5th May in particular).

I would also prefer the latter part of the week if possible (Wed, Thurs, Fri) since my wife works Mon, Tues & Wednesdays and I normally take our daughter to the crèche/nursery on those days.

Steve and Dieter are to prepare a proposal for the goals:

*	The terms goals and requirements are used to describe the same thing - is this OK?
*	From the perspective of INFOD there is no difference between goals 3, 4, 5 and 6
*	Implementing goal 10  maybe too difficult for publishers and consumers; it should be dropped
*	Goal 11 should be dropped
*	Goal 12 should be related to goals 3 to 6

Cecile to write a few paragraphs explaining the rational behind the structure of the interface

Early F2F planning 

*	Time: May 1 or 15 - the week before or after GGF17 - Monday through Wednesday
*	Location: East Coast (New York), West Coast (San Francisco) or Toronto
*	If you like to attend please indicate your preference and your conflicts.
