Dear GSM-WG members,

[Apologies, I had sent this earlier from another address by mistake
and didn't notice the bounce till now]

As you know, there is another OGF coming up, and this time we only
have one GSM-WG session scheduled:

http://www.ogf.org/gf/event_schedule/index.php?id=1959

It is Tuesday 16th at 17:00 local time.
http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/fixedtime.html?day=16&month=3&year=2010&hour=17&min=0&sec=0&p1=37

As usual it is unpredictable who will show up, so we should have room
for introductions and background and suchlike. Although this being
Germany, I am hoping the dCache people will be well represented. In
the past I have been extremely impressed with the quality (and
quantity) of their contributions.

I am aware that we still have some loose ends to sort out. In
preparation for this, I have uploaded stuff to the wiki.

For now, I want to direct your attention to the review of GFD.129, the
SRM 2.2 standard. Although the document has been finalised we should
still publish a response to the review.

I am aware that we have discussed this several times before, but I was
unable to actually find the draft that circulated at some point by
email. I have some notes from OGF27.

So I created a new draft response on the wiki:

https://forge.gridforum.org/sf/wiki/do/viewPage/projects.gsm-wg/wiki/ResponseToReview

One thing I do remember from the earlier discussion is that we said we
won't make it official till we have all signed it off - at least those
who contributed. This is fine, we can now finish the collaboration on
the wiki.

I also have a draft of a new charter, at least in bullet point form,
as discussed at OGF27 in Banff. I shall place this on the wiki as
well (probably tomorrow, Friday), and we can then expand it into full
text. Perhaps Timur and I should drive this part of the process, to
ensure it gets done.

Hope to see you at OGF28!

Thanks
