One other thing that springs to mind is that ExtendedBoolean attributes are typed as LDAP Boolean which only allows TRUE and FALSE. That's the same kind of thing, i.e. a schema change would be backward-compatible but publication wouldn't.

  The other change we discussed from the original rendering was that attributes like ShareServiceForeignKey should go from optional to mandatory and attributes like ComputingShareComputingServiceForeignKey should go from mandatory to optional (and eventually be deprecated), but it looks like that is in the deployed schema.
