[gin-data] first data steps

Hi,

GGF17 is coming closer and I don't have too much information and people 
seem to be a bit quiet on the list. If we want to show first results in 
Tokyo we need to act now!

Please find below the current status of the most important parts of the 
document. I'll upload a new version to gridforge once more information 
has been received.

•	Enumerate the versions of gridFTP installed and their endpoints
o	EGEE: GT2, cmsdsk00.hep.ph.ic.ac.uk, sedsk00.hep.ph.ic.ac.uk, 
sedsk01.hep.ph.ic.ac.uk
o	NorduGrid: [VERSION?] gsiftp://hathi.hep.lu.se
•	Enumerate the different clients used
•	Write(?) or adapt a testsuite

3.	Gridftp performance
The following tasks need to be worked on:

4.	SRM Interoperation
The following tasks need to be worked on:
•	Enumerate the versions of SRMs installed and their endpoints
o	EGEE: SRM version 1.1, 
gfe02.hep.ph.ic.ac.uk:8443/pnfs/hep.ph.ic.ac.uk/data/[vo]
o	Nordugrid: SRM version 1.1 (plus a few 2.1.1 functions), not using 
gridFTP but HTTPS for transfer
o	
•	Identify the subset of the SRM specification to be used for interoperation
•	Write(?) or adapt a testsuite
o	SRM version2: S2 test: http://s-2.sourceforge.net/

5.	SRB Interoperation
