[fi-rg] New OGF Working Group FVGA-WG

Dear all,

as you may have heard, we have created a new Working group, which is
named "Firewall Virtualization for Grid Applications".

Work within this WG has already started. A first WG session will
be held at the OGF 24 conference next week.

The workgroup will be hosted under the infrastructure area of OGF, though
it is a security theme also, we thought that attracting persons from the 
infrasructure
area will widen the researchers community a lot.

A link to the Grid Forge pages has not been included into the OGF web 
pages yet,
but will follow soon. The current charter is attached.

The WG session at OGF 24 has been scheduled currently for Wednesday,
Sep. 17th. 2008, 02:15 pm, but is inofficial currently.
The final program has not been announced yet.

Also a mailing list `fvga-wg' has just been created for this WG.

There is also an email-based interface for users.
You can get info about using it by sending a message
with just the word `help' as subject or in the body, to:

    fvga-wg-request at ogf.org
