Two major scenarios:
(1) delegation of workload from one domain into the other
(2) leasing of resources

have been taken into account to deal with quasi-opportunistic for grid environments and parallel applications in the QosCosGrid consortium.
People would definitely share their experiences, scenarios and contribute to this group as there is a lot of code developed 
based on OGF standards, including BES/HPC, JSDL, DRMAA, and SAGA, for quick overview check out

More importantly the QosCosGrid software has been pushed recently onto productive HPC
infrastructures in Germany, Poland and a few other places.
