[DAIS-WG] DAIS working group chair vacancy

All,

I am standing down as co-chair of the DAIS working group because a 
change in my role at Oracle has made it increasingly difficult to attend 
OGF meetings and to dedicate time to DAIS activities.

I believe the group has made an important contribution to the 
development of Grid standards since its formation more than four years 
ago and this was particularly the case when Norman Paton was my 
co-chair. I'd like to thank everyone who has participated to the work of 
the group for their efforts in developing the initial set of DAIS 
specifications. The current initiative is to extend the core 
specification to include an RDF(S) realisation and I believe this is an 
important piece of work in evolving intelligent access, consumption and 
management of all types of Grid resource.

OGF working groups are encouraged to have two co-chairs so this is an 
opportunity for everyone interested to put their name forward. I'll be 
happy to provide more information on the role.
