A Utah federal judge sanctioned the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission
on Monday over misstatements its counsel made to obtain emergency measures
against crypto project Debt Box, ordering the regulator to pay both the
defense's and receiver's attorney fees as well as legal costs arising from
the regulator's "bad faith conduct."
