The crypto community is accustomed to using mnemonic phrases and sees
them as essential. We identified this as an issue from the very
outset, as it raises the barrier to entry for beginners and heightens
the risk of losing cryptocurrency.

Memorized strings, of any type, are rarely up to
256-bit equivalency, and are easily forgotten.
Hardware dies, and gets exploited.
Simple brain patterns, as secret lookup keys into much
deeper bit-equivalent spaces, serve and survive better.
